LF vs Chubb has been discussed ad nauseum, and "clearly" neither is "clearly" better, but they are both elite backs. Not a whole lot on the backups has been discussed though.

Sony is a proven back doing good work after Chubb was injured. Guice had limited carries, but was very effective when he got the ball and was scary in the return game. Discuss.

Stop what? This has some possibility of a decent discussion. In 2017, both of these backs will be "The Man" on their teams, and likely rush for 1500 yards or more each.

One back is a proven stud in the SEC, the other is nothing so bar but a serviceable backup. Stupid thread is stupid.

Guice stats 2015:

51 for 436, 8.5 ypc 3 TDS

For 300 carries, that is like 2500 yds, 18 scores. That might be a bit better than "serviceable."

Guice is going to be really good. That said, I'd take Michel right now.

Can we not do this. UGA fans will say Sony without knowing much about Guice. LSU fans will say Guice without knowing much about Sony.

Lol strawman extrapolation of stats. Juice piles up his stats running behind the best back in the SEC who has already tired out the other team. Sony carried UGA to 10 wins after Chubb went down. But have fun with your gay thread.

If only there was a way to track each back's current accomplishments. Oh wait, we have that. And it's a landslide.

So if we're not going by actual on the field results and just saying who is "better", as you said....both schools will take their own guy.

There, let's save everyone an hour.

Why do LSU fans need so much validation?

No they won't. Sony will go pro after 2016.

Guice is a great back and will do good stuff, too.

There must be something in the water since Saints fans are the same way.
