Per a league source, Grubb could be joining new coach Mike MacDonald as offensive coordinator of the Seahawks. While it’s not finalized, Grubb is definitely under consideration for the job.

Speaks volumes that an oc is that regarded.

The Seahawks must not know that he’s a former NAIA OC…

He's obviously very highly regarded in all circles, I will say it would be interesting to see MacDonald pick a college OC to fill the spot.

The guy has never coached in the NFL. He's only ever coached NAIA instead of a couple years at Washington. Seahawks should make a better hire than Grubb, IMO.

Why is Alabama the shopping grounds for every coaching vacancy in America. Even the pros come to Bama. Go to Georgia and get one of his 15 co-coordinators.

Monken not making a very good case for this after that horrendous AFC championship game.

Think he prob stays at bama, he's one good year away from getting HC offers I think

Depends on his goal: coach at highest level or stay in the college game.

It appears his goal is just to follow Kalen Deboer around wherever he goes. Guy turned down Saban to lost puppy Deboer only to end up at Alabama a year later anyway.

Maybe at a non P5 program. He could go make more money as an OC in the NFL and later take a job as a HC.

Correct. The melting won't really happen until more players hit the portal and decommits go elsewhere.

He and his wife probably went into Dreamland and saw the “no farting” sign and thought “get me out of here”
