why do bama fans keep saying this? People have been posting videos of bama doing the exact same thing not getting called in the seccg

Had Mack Wilson sat on top of Fromm for 5+ seconds, and then did that, then it would have been called, and you would have a point.

It's kind of funny that fans of multiple schools have legit gripes about officiating. There are multiple videos on the internet from said schools showing blatant missed/no call all having to do with one school.

That one school doesn't have a single complaint about officiating.

Oh Alabama fans have plenty of complaints about officiating. The difference is that Bama usually wins the game and when you win the game you don't spend hours obsessing and splicing and editing game film to air your grievances. You move on. When you lose, you look for someone else to blame.

we could do this for every team, especially LSU. But I don't believe in stupid conspiracy theories so I'm not going to waste my time digging through game clips for the sake of whining.

I mean, Christ, after all of the calls that LSU got last weekend vs MSU, its mind-blowing to me that you guys act like this is a Bama only thing. Completely delusional.

Multiple other fan bases: why can't our officiating be better?

Alabama fans: nah, we're good the way it is.

Thats about the base of what I have gotten from this thread. Also can we agree that if a call ever went against Alabama that cost them the game, Nick Saban would come unglued. This is the same person who has tried multiple times to change the rules of college football because it didn't benefit his team. (To his credit; he adapted and improved when it didn't, but it still doesn't change the fact that the man throws a fit at times.)

LOL

Reality:

Multiple fan bases: We're cherry picking calls to explain away Bama's dominance. It's easier for us to believe the refs are cheating for Bama, despite what the stats say.

Bama fans: LOL.

I don't think I've seen one single Bama fan say ALL REFS ARE JUST FINE, NOTHING NEEDS TO BE FIXED EVER, LETS JUST MOVE ALONG.

The extended pancake or the push on the way up might have been chalked up to just giving Jones the business. But doing both, especially in a game where both QBs had been knocked out with injury, is just too much business being given. That's on Taylor for being an idiot.

I'd love for it to be better. Alabama has been overpenalized relative to its opponents for years now. But I also think the officials are doing the best they can with what they are given. I think there is enough money for better training and more full-time officals so I'd be in favor of that. Beyond that there isn't a whole lot you can do. Reviewing all plays is crazy. There is too much reviewing going on in games as it is.

How is it a mistake when the entire stadium and millions of viewers at home know it's wrong?

I get live action missed calls or bad calls, but ANYTHING should be reviewable.

Dude, shut the frick up.

This entire issue is about refs being favorable towards Bama "for years now". It's not about "number of penalties", it's about the timing and game-deciding penalties.

But you know this, you're just being a cuck.
