Raising the price of the worst selling console is certainly a bold business strategy
The goal is to incentivize people to subscribe to game pass instead of just buying the game.

I try to parry everything, but if some specific attack or part of an attack sequence really fricks me up I’ll dodge instead.

According to the affidavit in the District of Columbia, 764 is a network of nihilistic violent extremists who engage in criminal conduct in the United States and abroad, seeking to destroy civilized society through the corruption and exploitation of vulnerable populations, which often include minors. The 764 network’s accelerationist goals include social unrest and the downfall of the current world order, including the United States Government.

The affidavit also details how the defendants instructed others members in grooming tactics and set content production expectations for new recruits. In multiple instances, defendants threatened and caused their victims to engage in self-mutilation, online and in-person sexual acts, harm to animals, sexual exploitation of siblings and others, acts of violence, threats of violence, suicide, and murder.

I honestly believe Trump actually did want this outcome to ensure Canada continues its economic decline.
Eventually it will get so bad that a majority of Canadians will actually embrace US annexation.

This hoe’s biggest mistake was going after a guy that is likely not going to die very soon. Sure he could have a random heart attack or something, but he will likely live another 7-10 years. That’s a long time for a young hoe to have to pretend to be in love with a wrinkly old man and also potentially enough time for Bill to snap out of this pussy haze he is in and kick her arse to the curb.

The difficulty definitely goes up in act 2.
It kind of felt the opposite to me with the new pictos/lumina that became available. Has made my squads survivability go way up.

I am completely uneducated about this genre of game, but these statements do not compute:
1) It's a turn-based game.
2) I can't time the dodge/parry.
I love turn-based games, so why is it hard to "time" a parry or dodge? Wouldn't you just say to yourself, "Self, it's time to dodge, therefore I'll do it" and thus it is done?
I'm certain this is a misunderstanding, but the words used confuse the hell out of me.
I will break this down for you.
On offensive turns, its turn based like normal with some simple QTE timings on abilities. Press button when in the "perfect" zone.
On defense, when an enemy has it's turn to attack, the enemies have wind ups to their melee attacks and spells. These can target one party member, or all of them at once. You have to pay attention to sound cues and swing animations and press either the dodge button to dodge (has a larger window of success) or the parry button (tight window, but rewards more action points and can also result in counter attacks that deal damage).
The game is turn based, but has incorporated a soulslike element to make it more engaging than just selecting your moves and watch the game fully play itself.

Looks good. But looks like there is a pretty big gap between the glass panels at the corner.

Why isn't this game "overwhelmingly positive" on Steam? If it were I would have bought it already.
The vast majority of the complaints and negative reviews are from people who just suck at video games in general and can't utilize the dodges and parries correctly. At least from what I have seen.

I've tried what I thought was on time, then early, then late, but I can't dodge or parry it. It's a one hit KO on my peeps so it's wildly annoying.
Are you fighting the white rock guy? If so, you can't do anything about that attack (yet).

That Dalton Beck pinch hit won the game. Jay has pulled some magic with clutch pinch hits this season.

If you are interested in AI application stuff you’re better off looking for second hand 3090s. 24gb of VRAM vs 16 makes it a lot more attractive.

Can anyone confirm if this game continuously scales as you level? Or are certain areas and zones statically level gated? As in, if I skipped an optional early game dungeon and came back after beating the game, would everything in it match my level or would it all be lower level enemies?

Once I realized the on screen text gave you hints as to the timing of the next strike, I've found it to be fairly easy. And I typically suck at parrying in any game.

This is good to hear. I guess it's not surprising to run into a bunch of bads complaining non stop on the steam forums and reddit.
