It feels like Cam just forgot, in the heat of the moment, that the cameras are everywhere in the modern NFL. You can't blink without it being GIFed by a sufficiently motivated person on the Internet.
Though I saw he offered some half-hearted defiance to the criticism today, I wonder if he'd make a different choice if he had a chance to re-do the play.
I also wonder why replay booths get it wrong so often when a guy can hesitate for a half a second and indisputable video evidence is all over the Internet two minutes later.

Doesn't feel like he's trolling. If he's saying the same thing lots of people who have no anti-Auburn or anti-Panthers sentiment are saying, and not making it personal (he didn't attack Cam as a human being, just as a QB and leader of the team), it's probably safe to give him the benefit of the doubt regarding his allegiances. McCarron might be a bit of a douche, but McElroy seems to be a good'un.

Yeah. I got into this weird argument last night with an Auburn fan who equated criticism (and, let's be honest, lots of trolling too) with "bragging." I'm not sure he knows what "bragging" is, but he clearly thinks everyone is attacking Cam for personal self-promoting reasons rather than legitimately being put off by Cam's behavior or, you know, just pissing off Auburn fans. No question lots of y'all are trolling, but they don't get much sympathy from me because they would totally do it if the positions were reversed.

I think some of the criticism of Cam is valid, but McElroy insinuating that Cam "quit" on the team and that his teammates will view him differently is at best conjecture and at worst saying shite to be controversial.
