You're talking about poaching coaches from within the same conference (which is a touchy subject to begin with), who right now are in decent spots at both of their programs (between recruiting and on the court results), and could do just as well as Mizzou has done in the years since Mike Anderson's Elite Eight ten years ago.
That's not saying Mizzou can't attract a decent coach, but I think you're overstating your current worth when you think you can poach guys from inside the conference like you're Kentucky.

I think it's unlikely but that comment doesn't scream "no way will I coach Missouri".
Nor does it scream "I'm getting the frick out of Wichita". Honestly, it sounds more stable (in terms of staying put) then the comments he gave the first time around with Mizzou.

They don't want a strong Mizzou because they know it adds another contender to the league.
Multiple other programs in this conference have won National Championships while Kentucky was still a wildly successful program. Nice try though.

Awww, the self-professed Mizzou troll is rustled.
You need to work on your facade, baw.

Why so many UK and Hog fans posting poo poo about Mizzou coaching search?
Because they're scared AF. They don't want Mizzou to be back. It's happening, baws. Y'all better get ready for it.

Well of course it doesn't. He could be angling for a raise...who knows.
Just admit you have salt for Mizzou at this point. It's ok. You said Mizzou as a program is on Miss States level today. That doesn't scream "I'm not salty" to me.

She is on tilt. You are the least troll like of all us Mizzou regs around here.

As it stands right now, it'd be a lateral move for Howland with what he's bringing in at State.
Is it that hard for you to discern the difference?

Why would I have salt for a team that's never made a Final Four? Or beat Kentucky? If anything we'd really like some teams in this conference to start picking up the slack since it helps Kentucky's seeding in March when you play decent competition in conference. That was part of the reason you were brought to the SEC, right?

Well. You are spending an awful lot of time telling everyone how shitty a program and job Mizzou is....
Posted on 3/5/17 at 6:00 pm to kilo
You're perceiving it as your program is shitty. I'm just saying you're in a Texas-like situation if you think you can buy anything and anyone just because you're Mizzou Basketball. You're decent program but you certainly don't carry weight like that. Given the position that both Martin and Howland are in at their respective programs, it's incredibly plausible that they'll both say no.
I'm not going to apologize for not being a sycophant.

Uh no Belle, we fear a program that has not been to the Final Four.

Look, sweet cheeks.
I already said Marshall is not coming here, but when you can't even admit that Mizzou is an infinitely better job than Miss St you are being fricking stupid...and you're being fricking stupid.
If you're wanting more competition within the league then why in the world are you on full rustle mode about Kimmie getting fired? Doesn't add up :/
Crean is likely our next coach. He's a very good coach and will have us in the top 4 of this league consistently and competing for the championship every few years. Exactly where we should be. Get used to it.

Indiana isn't in the top 4 of the big 10 this year, are they?
Posted on 3/5/17 at 6:04 pm to Spaghettios
Just a reminder that Tennessee could have had Marshall many years ago. Fortunately for everyone one else, we run our AD like garbage.

Baw, don't get pissed because Belle is bitch slapping you.

To be fair, he does get some pretty amazing perks. Free charter planes. Koch money. No football team to take spotlight.
