That reads like a man that's about to get another nice raise from Wichita State. Not that he's going anywhere. He pretty well said he's really happy in Wichita, wants to be there if they'll have him, etc.

Well if he were willing to move why would he remove leverage from a potential new job contract negotiations? Sounds like a man keeping his options open to me.

During our last coaching search Marshall had a team coming off a final four, not exactly a great time to convince him to leave. This time with the recruits in Missouri over the next three years + making him one of the highest paid coaches we could convince him to leave.

It's cool. You are alright in my book but when a legit college basketball fan starts talking like Mizzou is no better a program than every other SEC program not named UK Florida or Arkansas itstate a little weird. Mizzou has had done a rough couple years but it's a well above average P5 gig.

But hey, if you can't handle pointing out that Gregg Marshall has turned down multiple jobs to stay Wichita State with some much bigger openings then Mizzou on the immediate horizon I'm not really sure what to tell you.

He will listen to a Mizzou offer. Will he take it? I don't know. I think it's unlikely but that comment doesn't scream "no way will I coach Missouri".

UK fans know the SEC blows and they want as easy a path through the league as possible. They don't want a strong Mizzou because they know it adds another contender to the league.
