Kyle Pitts had a better year with a shorter all-SEC schedule and went on to be a top 5 NFL draft pick.

Hard to say anybody is better than him, although Bowers will certainly have a better career vs single season when comparing the two

Witten may be better with his hand in the ground, but he was never capable of doing what Brock can lining up in the slot or taking a handoff. Bowers is closer to Witten in-line than Witten is to Bowers off-line.

Witten had some success working in an offense where he flexed out from time to time.

I don't know who it is, but make sure they can block and are not just another WR lining up at TE and defended by linebackers.

You don't get on the field much for Kirby if you can't block. Brock is not Mike Gesicki.

Kyle Pitts

96 ypg and 1.5 TDs/game are pretty strong.

It sucks that he sat out the bowl game.

Brock can block. He graded out well...He is absolutely the best TE in the country right now. The position is different than it used to be, and he's the best out there. I just think that it's early to say that he's the greatest in the history of the conference.

Brock Bowers is the best I have seen.

Followed by Kyle Pitts.

After reading this thread, I’m convinced that the the ONLY two Tennessee players who could EVER start for Jawja are Peyton Manning and Reggie White. And Manning would be iffy.
