Oregon looks like they are going to run through the PAC unscathed. They have both the offense and the defense.

Didn’t watch the video but wanted to say I still have no idea where the hate for Bo Nix came from.

I would understand people complaining about his play but there was and still is something extra towards him. I’m baffled by it.

He was a lot better than he got credit for also.

There was no hate for Bo.

The QB gets the glory when they win.
The QB gets the blame when they lose.

Happens everywhere. It’s just some people are strong enough to endure criticism.

Let Oregon go on a three game losing streak and see how much he is “loved”.

(This thread) What I love about this venerable community (SECr) of astutely appreciative CFB fans and the SEC fandom in general.

Credit is always given where credit it due.

It's a tough crowd but respect is earned and given based upon results.

Bo Nix is loved by Auburn fans. That should be a shining example for all of us to live-by.

This is an even better story. Every Auburn person I know is pulling for Bo Nix. Oregon was the best thing that ever happened to that kid. He had too much attachment to Auburn from childhood and wasn’t playing with joy. He is right where he needs to be, and this story just lets you know what kind of stick he comes from The Nix family are good people.

I said several times on here that he'd be a really good qb if he ever got a decent qb coach. Auburn fans called bullshite.

Proud of the guy for developing himself into a star QB. Gus and Harsin were responsible for a lot of why he was not as successful as he could be at Auburn.

What he needed was an offensive line which only got worse under Harsin.

Because he was a straight up a-hole during the games and on the sidelines

Kinda telling how dysfunctional Auburn has been from 2020 on.

I am sorry but silly adages don't do the justice that Bo deserves for how stupid Auburn fans treated him. If you thought he sucked then get your football IQ examined. There were games like Georgia 2021 where he was graded as the top PFF performer on the offense with strong ratings. If the fans dont want to lose, dont run off your best offensive performer on the team.

Auburn fans complained because he "did not play like a five star" even though he had zero help whatsoever. His OL and his wide receivers sucked. Bo was wildly put on the cross for literally anything that ever went wrong and he was even called "Bo Pix" even though he broke his own record at Auburn for ball security (so he now owns 2 records for most passes between interceptions)

Bo could not muster an offense of any sort unless he was running for his life but entitled Auburn fans still expected Nix to eventually pass for 80% completion percentage because *crickets* regardless of the conditions on the field. Peyton Thorne has already taken more sacks this year in 94 pass attempts than Bo did in 2021 with 320 pass attempts and Bo's offensive line was garbage just as well. Peyton has already tied Bo's total turnovers from 2021 as well. The longer it takes for Auburn to put a decent QB on that field the better it looks on Bo. I have no ill well to Thorne but he is no Bo.

Which the irony is now the same Auburn fans that hated Bo- they are liking what they are seeing from Thorne. Once you go 5 straight SEC games of not passing over 100 passing yards people apparently get a fresh perspective. Imagine that.

Because the barn is a delusional fanbase that thinks every qb is going to win the heisman. They had already given him the trophy and crowned him a legend before he ever stepped on campus because daddy played there. No way he was ever going to live up to those expectations. They talk about fambily and creeds when things go well, when they they don't they turn on you and attack you personally. The athletic department will start rumors you're having an affair to destroy your reputation so you'll quit and they avoid paying the buyout. In 2012 the fans wore bags over their heads and the ad put out a release asking fans not to boo the team. Biggest bandwagon fanbase in the country.
