Paying players while at the same time siccing his acolytes in the ncaa on opposing programs for trying to do the same?
I don't think that's possible

Funny he created the largest stockpile of unfair advantage thru talent in Modern football history only to whine about fairness once the field has been leveled.....
If not for Saban, there would be no Kirby. If there was no Kirby we would still be ridiculing Georgia fans with 1980. Show some appreciation.
How do you think Kirby won those two championships? An unfair advantage thru stockpiling talent? Or his expertise in calling timeouts?
You realize Georgia has not won a playoff game since 2022. NIL and the transport portal caused Saban to quit. It made people think Kirby had quit.

So Alabama runs the NCAA? Cool.

All I care about is that now everything is out in the open. What got me the most in the bagman era was teams winning and their fans acting like the games were fair. UGA fans barking at others when they had a roster full of studs they bought while beating a bunch of 3 stars.
Indiana just proved it has little to do with a school or history or anything. It’s all about buying good players. There is nothing special about Tuscaloosa, Athens, Tallahassee, Gainesville, Baton Rouge. The same for regions. The players will go where they get paid the most. If that means they leave the southeast then so be it.

How do you explain that prior to NIL players from the southeast rarely left the southeast? Why did it only change when NIL became the law of the land?

I think we can all agree
CFB basically is not as fun to follow as it used to be because of depth and building rosters, but each year is more exciting because you can't predict it at all.

The NCAA had issues when other schools tried to do what Saban did.

Nick always liked a marked deck. With a few aces up his sleeve.
NCAA looked the other way.
NCAA looked the other way.
