Article here

I'm not posting in hopes of raising the ire of either fanbase, but we all know it's gonna happen anyways

Enjoy the read if you choose to do so, though

Chavis left for A&M? First I've heard of this.

TBird, who is this Chevis guy you talking about? Chevis Regal?

ETA: Talent makes coaches. Coaches don't make talent.

Good read. Made ME feel good.

The writer's a bit "show-offy" for an article like this, imho.

I agree. Seems like Grantland articles tend to be that way

So are you trying to say coaching never matters? The most talented team should always win?

Coaches most definitely develop talent. Talent without good coaching is how you get underachieving teams...

You need both to be successful

Why would that article raise the ire of any Aggie fans? The hook on the string looks kind of purplish and goldish to me.

Because it calls the Chavis move a secret, when we have been shouting from the rooftops about it for weeks.

Even if Chavis’s motivations for moving were more contractual than aspirational, it’s not hard to imagine that after watching his team finish unranked in 2014 despite fielding the no. 1 total defense in the nation’s most competitive conference, he’s calculating the impact that defense could make when paired with an offense that can actually be counted on to score some damn points.

Not that LSU has ever lacked for offensive talent: The 2013 attack produced eight NFL draft picks, including rookie revelations Odell Beckham Jr., Jeremy Hill, and Jarvis Landry

Good read. Laughable but good.

We are going to kick the shite out of AtM/Chavis in the courtroom and on the field this year

Plenty of Ags are tired of the Chavis banter that has become childish on both sides.
