Waters is not up for POTY
LSU showed against Tennessee (and A&M) that it doesn't need Waters as much as we thought; that Smart and Mays are capable of beating anyone.

Lol. Bone was great today but I would be no less than shocked if the only PG up for POTY doesn’t even get the 1st team PG honors. It’s Waters’ to lose IMO

No. Waters is the best sec PG this year and is in 3rd place right now in the SEC POTY race. How can he be 3rd, behind 2 forwards, and not be the best PG?

You could argue LSU’s most impressive game came without Waters playing. Williams will definitely win player of the year. I don’t think he has any future in the NBA, but he’s a heck of a college player.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. He played well today, and PJ sat for 12 minutes with foul trouble.

Grant Williams is very consistent and workmanlike in how he wrecks other teams. He just out-basketballs people.

Except for when he played us lol. He didn’t work shite against us
Posted on 3/2/19 at 5:42 pm to Terrific Tales
Yes, in his worst performance of the season he put up 18/9/3, which is why he will be the back to back PoTY

I never said he wouldnt. I think he will. But you are also delusional if you think Bone gets #1 SEC pg.

Most of his points were from NBA type flops, where he got some nice open looks on foul shots. He should be great at next level

Yep it’s a shame he’s not 6’8” or he’d be a great pro. He’s way closer to 6 5” Ultimate tweener at next level but a great college player.

Personally, I think Smart is better than Waters.

I would think Q Weatherspoon should be in the conversation too.
18.8 ppg
51% FG(Overall)
41% from Three Point Land
5.5 RPG
2.5 APG
1.5 SPG
He has been even better in conference games. He is the unquestioned leader of a State squad that probably not too many teams want to face in the postseason.

Have you ever made a post that was actually plausible and made sense? If so I haven't seen one yet from you, Ashley. PJ Washington isn't gonna beat out Williams for SEC player of the year. He's just doesn't have the resumé. He doesn't even average 15 points a game.
