Sounds like your school needs to do a better job of coaching and recruiting?
You have a record Tex and it's not great.
1 10 win season in 10 years yet your school has a budget over 200 million per year. Perhaps your school should contract (outside of UT of course) someone to explain ROI.

Outside of recruiting there’s nothing special about Nick Saban. Is he a better coach than Bill Snyder?
There’s nothing special about stacking your two deep with NFL caliber players, then calling Bill Belichick’a defense.
Saban is not an inventor. He’s a great recruiter

Oh no, teenagers that wear the UT uniform won’t win as many games as the teenagers that wear the Bama jersey.

Is it healthy for the sport to have the same 4 teams win the Chip every year?
If they're the 4 best teams, then I say yes. We can't pretend a team shouldn't be in the playoffs if they're not one of the 4 best teams. Why set the rules and then move the football when your team wasn't one of the 4 best ones? Seems kind of immature to hold that position.

stack the two deep with 5* players by paying them, while the rest of the field tries to play the rules?
Sounds kind of like the unlimited scholarships Texas used to their advantage for a few decades. Maybe you can understand why Texas fought so hard to prevent scholarship limits.
Welp, since scholarship limits came into place 50 years ago Texas has been pretty average except for the stretch with VY and Colt. There is a certain amount of irony in you complaining aboutr a team stacking players now. Don't you think?

As much as I hate to admit it, we are (I believe) headed for NFL-Lite. With the NIL giving players the chance to control their marketing it was only a matter of time. Two, maybe four super conferences with all playoff "relevant" teams will become the norm. And I would agree, with this CFB as we knew it is dead.

Nah...I think we are going to get a better slate of games in the SEC with the addition of TX and OU. I would rather see an expanded payoff an bigger leagues among the P5 than watching the season interspersed with cupcakes.

Exactly. Me meanwhile regular college students have to pay. Acting like college athletes don't get something out of participating is really dumb.

No one can say what will be better or worse. But we can say it will be different, that’s for sure.
