they don't get that....but when you've convinced yourself somehow that last year doesn't count for any number of made up reasons, it's easy to see why they think that.

He may have lost some luster as " best college coach alive" category, but he is still a great coach and in a different league than Chiznik, who can only win by cheating. STFU Barner.

Is that why LSU is on probation, and not Auburn?

If he goes out and finds a kicker this offseason he'll be ok in my book.

I know Auburn is happy with their current coach. He inherited a terrible situation and still only has 74 scholarship players with most of those being underclassmen......BUT

He still has accomplished something Les hasn't and Saban couldn't in the same situation....have an UNDEFEATED NATIONAL TITLE WINNING TEAM AND HEISMAN WINNER.....

hahahahahah

We fine, U Mad, They Mad, We Not.....WDE

Saban is a great recruiter and the man I would want my son to play for (regardless of where he was coaching) if I had a son with nfl aspirations.

He's excellent at motivating his team, they play for him and respond to him, he is excellent at making adjustments. You may not like his way or his method but if you think Chizik is better you are a fool.

At the end of the day Saban can't make the plays for them. He can't make AJ not choke in OT, he can't make Williams hang on to the ball that Reid stripped. He can't make an average kicker suddenly turn into an NFL 50 yard plus kicker.

Regardless of what happened last night I can't think of a Coach I'd rather have.

He didn't say Auburn wasn't good at it.

The guy is clearly a fine recruiter and a good defensive coordinator.

However, let's look at his big game c.v.

He won the BCS title in 2003 but (and sorry LSU fans) but he played and beat in a close game an OU squad that lost its conference title game in a blowout to K State. USC was sitting there with the same record as LSU with a conference title to their credit. The voters agreed and split the title that year.

In 2008 Saban lost the sec title game and then lays an egg against Utah.

In 2009 BAMA won it all, BUT the best player on the field for Texas got hurt on the first series and Garrett effin Gilbert almost led a comeback for Texas.

In 2010, BAMA had auburn in BDS with everything going their way including the worst celebration penalty I've ever seen called on Fairley. They take a 24-0 lead and then Saban proceeds to get debaclepwnd by Chizik.

Last night Saban once again gets pantsed in national TV by Les.

So, I ask you, what is the big deal about Saban? He seems to do less with more than any coach in the country.

Too long; didn't read; LOL.

Chizik is a good coach; he just sucks at coaching amateur athletes. We all have our strengths and weaknesses.
