My understanding is that the Top 5 teams from each of the six regionals (after 3 rounds) advance to the national championship competition.

There, the 30 teams will compete in a stroke-play competition, after which the top 8 will advance to match play for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship.

Wish the regionals meant more. It's just a way to give lesser teams a chance to make it to national finals.

Even then nothing matters until the final 8.

LSU on fire early.

The NCAA Golf Championships feel like they last a month.

Yeah. This week is just about getting top 5. Doesn't matter how well you play as long as you hit top 5.

Golf championship is definitely a Marathon, not a sprint.

Fla & Aub are currently 5 shots back and tied for 5th in a very tightly bunched field. 10th place team is only 10 shots behind the leader.
