Hit Gay st downtown to find much of the downtown vibe.

The Downtown Grill and brewery is a decent casual dining spot if you want something simple


Clancy’s another place I like, it’s an Irish pub type spot but avoid mondays as it’s trivia night

The Tomato Head is one of our go-to restaurants when in Knoxville.

What type of dining/flavor experience are you looking for specifically?

If you're feeling some pasta, check out Emilia's or Osteria Stella. Both are downtown in the middle of or close to the other entertainment, parks, bars, etc.

I should add that Italian is one category that Knoxville could do better in, but both are solid.

Tomato Head is reliably good for pizza.
