I’m not parroting anything, frickstick. Their perimeter defense in the second half was clearly better. Did you watch the same game?

You made a statement, I asked for clarification, you couldn't answer it. You acknowledged you didn't know and it just looked like it to you so kudos, that's more than most will admit on the Internet. Then you got mad and started talking about jizz. It's ok to move forward and save yourself anymore embarrassment.

Golden makes 2nd half adjustments like Kirby Smart does in football.
Impressive.

They played better defense in the second half with more pressure in the perimeter, and that’s why they won the basketball game. That comes from coaching. Sorry you can’t see that but that’s what their team is talking about in the postgame presser.

Why did their vastly improved defense not result in better results?

They tightened the screws on defense in that second half. Houston couldn’t score down the stretch.

It was also because Houston was tired. This is what we have done all year, wear you down. If we keep it close or blow you out in the first half, oh boy.

A much more possible theory. Houston's defense was not as swarming and as a result they turned the ball over less as the game went on.

Yeah… you gotta get THIS Florida team down by 25+ to have a chance. We are speaking from experience.

Houston wasn’t tired. They do the same thing. Florida has a great defense to go along with their offense. Houston offense decent, but not great.

How many free throws did Houston take in the 1st half vs. the 2nd? What was their shooting % 1st half vs. 2nd?

Are you defining better as points scored only? Pace of play has a big effect as well.

Sampson was talking about Florida’s 2nd half defense in his press conference, how difficult it was to score and how the Gators kept running them off the 3-pt line.

His defensive adjustments of pressure worked no matter what the points reflected. You are discounting the first half jitters by both teams in the first half. How many missed shots in the first half? Just lining up stats is a lot like a woman in a bikini. You see a good bit, but not everything.
