GOAT SEC QB JFF scores highest score out of any 2014 QB on Wonderlic
quote:
Matt Flynn scored a 38 he had similar ability as JFF so the careers could be the same
Whoa....besides trolling, do you actually believe that???
The key word is "ability". I don't think he meant Flynn had comparable statistics to JFF.
Remember Flynn only played one season - his Senior season, because he played behind Russell.
And in that one season, he had over 3000 yards total offense. He had a better supporting cast of skill players than JFF did.
JFF played two seasons and was practically A&M's entire offense.
Oh, and Flynn won a national championship in his one year, though he didn't win the Heisman. JFF clearly deserved that.

No shock from me. A&M is the Harvard of the south.
Saying crap like that makes you sound like a Texas fan.

I love how the comparison is to other future NFL athletes, who on average are pretty damn dumb. Also note how Cornell's QB blew him out of the water.

Why note that re: Cornell's kid?
Who claimed his score wasn't outstanding?
And where are you getting that "average?"

I note that because the title of this thread is a lie.
I said nothing about "outstanding."
The below average intelligence of NFL players is empirical - and also common sense.

I said the Cornell kid's score was outstanding.
Maybe I misunderstood, but I read your post as saying Ags implied otherwise.
My career is statistics and research. I was just curious if you had data re: your "average" comment, that's all.

To recap and clarify, his score went from 36 to 32. He beat out all QB's has been revised to, "he scored higher than Gabbert and Bridgewater". Just want to make sure I am celebrating appropriately.

Except for who, the dude from Cornell who will go undrafted? That's important.

Thanks for that qualifier.

will know just how dumb he mite really be.
Alrighty then!
Personally I don't see his Wonderlic score as terribly important and it sure isn't a surprise, as he always seemed intelligent to me. It's important for his fans because of all the goobers who were convinced he's a dummy. Just another negative squashed.

Manziel is Flynn 2.0
I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean or why a UConn fan is here or why an LSU fan would claim to be a UConn fan. It's all very confusing. I like Matt Flynn as a backup. If you're comparing their skill sets, you didn't watch many (any?) Manziel games. LSU had A&M's number - no question about that. Superior athletes and defensive coaching. But to compare Manziel to Flynn is just silly.
