Clemson lost out on a SR when they had to bid against MSU a few years ago. It's my understanding that their stadium had a major renovation after that bid loss to help them out in future cases where they were bidding for a SR. My gut says Clemson gets the host this coming weekend.

Well, Matt Stewart doesn't know what he's talking about because there is no way Clemson hosting is a given. Alabama and Clemson are both two seeds so they'll bid and it will be decided on tomorrow. I still can't figure out what Matt Stewart was talking about, but then it hit me, he's a CSS announcer for a reason. And...
Surely as an LSU fan, and therefore I assume a somewhat knowledgable baseball fan, you can see how pathetic of a quote this is.

In all honesty, I doubt the CWS is the same without LSU fans. It was the same way with Hoover, I was glad they made it because it made the whole trip more fun.

Somebody give me the breakdown on Alabama's team. Started out the year on fire, I remember people saying they had the most complete team in years, then fell apart at the seams once SEC play started. What changed and when?
