Ahh. The group W bench.
Mother rapers, father stabbers, father rapers. Father rapers sitting on the bench right next to Arik Gilbert.

Depends on if the SEC is going to apply the rules equally.
Eddie Smith was all set up to go to State till we found out the SEC is making intra-conference transfers sit a year.

immediately eligible because lack of institutional control at LSU
you guys just thought a lot of LSU players opted out last season. You ain't seen nothing yet

I think he alluded to that because it was mentioned in the initial reports.

According to LSU fans, this season didn’t count, so he should get to play right away.

Gainesville is about 6 hours from home for him, doesn't do much to help homesick

He won’t play next year. Likely won’t be academically eligible. Also soft. Also won’t have a good QB throwing to him. Also I’m drunk.

Things I never thought I’d see on The Rant....an Alice’s Restaurant reference has to at or near the top.

There are academic requirements? Big news

Sec to sec transfer have to sit out a year. Only a rule in the SEC despite the ncaa rule. On top of that, he won't be eligible academically and has quadruple failed drug tests. Florida will suffer the year without having him unless LSU does them a huge favor in covering this stuff up which I think would be ridiculous

quote:Like Joey Gatewood. He'll be cleared to play the week after his current team plays the team he left.
Unless we pushed for something different, he will get the same COVID transfer benefits that anyone else is getting.

That's fine. It'll probably take that long to get the corndog stank off of him.

LSU fans are gross in this thread. He’s 19. Doesn’t like LSU. Get over it.

Happy to have the "problem" five star freak. I'm betting Mullen and Brewster find a way to use him pretty well.

The SEC rule has him ineligible for 21 at the moment
Florida and Arik will have to prepare waivers which the NCAA will approve and then the SEC will have a decision to make.
In current climate they have been lenient with pretty much everything and NCAA still has not passed the one time waiver rule.
All of this will factor in.
In the end my guess is he will be eligible.
