Logic.

The only question is the head to head element. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with it, just going by the rules. The play was was still going on and everyone is free game.

If you see the whole screen shot at the time the hit occurred the ball carrier was going down, and Murray was hardly running over to tackle him. You can see Dial find Murray and blind side him.

Yep and Bama holds every play. Every fan base agrees.

of course he does. Alabama players do nothing wrong in the eyes of the fans

Yes they do wrong but leveling a QB who does not have field awareness isn't one of them.

It would have forced bama to drive the ball about 25 more yards and possibly not get points before the half. In a 4 point game I'd say it was hardly an irrelevant no call.

I was st the game but if he was 20 feet from our guy while he was returning an int, then thats tough shite for him. I havent seen another angle besides that one, but itsclear as day from that gif that he put his shoulder into Murrays chest. I dont know how you can conclude otherwise after watching that gif.

Murray was about 20 feet away from the ball carrier for Bama and he was moving to him. He got blocked. Dial led with his shoulder.

As a Bama fan, that hit on Murray was uncalled for. Although the shoulder did hit first, it was still a helmet to helmet hit.

Exactly. Definitely should have been a penalty.

Helmet to helmet contact. That's the issue here.

Players get blindsided all the time in football...not Dials fault Murray was playing with a limp wrist. Maybe soccer is a sport you might more closely identify with?

Just because big, bad Billy-Joe ran over you one day at football practice, while you were passing out water, doesn't mean you know any more than anyone else.

I kid, but it should have been a penalty. Period.

Doesn't mean it would've helped Georgia and hurt Alabama in any way.

First off Murray should have ran faster to assist in the tackle or get out of the way. Just Gogging to the area will get him block down everytime. Stop the damn crying already. Nothing is going to happen and that is that. So stop crying!

It's not about getting blindsided. It's about helmet-to-helmet contact. I don't think it would have mattered, but it was a penalty. Not really a cheap shot, IMHO, just an illegal block.

They have to suspend him, it not debatable. And if they don't, the SEC are even bigger hypocrites than previously believed, because they suspended trae elston earlier in the year.

That's the only issue. There was the typical rantard overreaction about how just hitting Murray in that case was dirty. There was nothing wrong with hitting Murray in that case.

You don't think he should be flagged? It was helmet to helmet you dumbass.

It was a penalty because he did lead with his head under his chin.

You blind or stupid?

How? I saw in the game thread where McCarron got hit by a helmet and everyone was calling it a bullshite call. Which is it?
