i can remember a time when football was football. all this crying bs is for pu$$ies. it want be long until tackling will be illegal...lets just go ahead and put flags on their sides and pull them...geesh! i find it funny when a kicker is nailed like that on punts or kickoffs not a word is said!

If it wasn't the king (Alabama) not much would've been said about it. It comes with the territory, i just laugh it off.

Well, two things in this situation: One, Dial was definitely targeting Murray to deliver a knockout shot. He could have easily just stepped in front of Murray and blocked him like an o-linemen so there was intent. And two, Dial's helmet hit Murray in the Jaw. LSU was flagged this year twice for "contact above the shoulders."

If you're not gonna flag that then you can't throw the flag on the AJ hit in the red zone. That hit was definitely shoulder.

Probably true but also take into account that everyone watching yesterday also watched AJ whine a flag out of bug eyes.

AJ's ball wasn't intercepted dummy. After the interception Murray was a defensive player and fair game.

Hell, AU got two penalties against us last week playing bama for contact above the shoulders. Both times were Therezie (I believe, was definitely a db), and one was on the opening drive. And in both of them, contact was initiated with the shoulder. Neither was nearly as bad as Dial.
However, I would bet the same dumbass hypocritical gumps in this thread did not complain or disagree with either of those calls.
None of it really matters since Murray was not injured. The only take home lesson is there are a lot of gumps that are brainless hypocrites.

Obvious penalty, no one should be surprised no flag was thrown, frick the SEC officials and Alabama.

So if a player is fair game because the play is still going on AND the player has the responsibilty to have "field awareness", what was the call on LSU's player against bama's player who was just strolling down the field?Same exact circumstance, except the blow was not to the head of the bama player. And very relevant as time was winding down in the half & a 15 yd penalty pushes bama back another good 20 yrs or so. Funny that the only ones here defending bama are bama fans. Every one of the tv talking heads talked bout how dirty it was & that it merited a suspension. Which will never happen from Sleve.
