Sounds believable. Someone in the Big 12 league office just cared so much about Longhorn players or fans feelings.

The no-taunting thing has already been a thing in several leagues, including the SEC, as has already been pointed out on this thread.
Texas fans typically appreciate it more than anything. Most especially when fans do it on TV during a game Texas isn't even playing in

Personally I think it’s unsportsmanlike to not do the horns down signal. 15 yard penalty for not doing it after every play would suffice

Just another subjective call that we have to trust SEC refs to make the right call. Right???? An unsportsman-like penalty for hurt feelings? No wonder TCU & Kansas St., Baylor, are on top of that conference.

It's going to be so funny to watch you all cry the first time a ref throws a flag on someone doing a horns down.

Tennessee got a penalty for doing the same thing against Florida (without the throat slash) a few years ago as well.

It will be tears of laughter watching Horns Down become the de facto hand sign of every team in this conference. It will spread like a virus among your shitwit fanbases until they're finally throwing Horns down at games we're not even playing in. It will happen, and it will be glorious!

This. Horns Down is awesome and I whole-heartedly encourage the practice.

TL:DR - Unless a player does it directly in a Longhorns face, it's not unsportsmenlike.

What do you think that proves? Sure we benefited, but we don’t give a Frick about thumbs down lol people still do Johnny’s money sign to this day to taunt us. It’s kinda impressive it’s still remembered. It makes the sport fun.

Nobody except that Baylor player has ever done thumbs down. Your own fans do horns down in games that don't even involve us.

And we love it.

Is throwing the horns up in another players face going to be considered taunting?

I don’t suppose you’ll bother to post a video?

This wasn't even to another player, too; only the crowd. So I guess aggies are the ones that get preferential treatment from this?

Remember a few hours ago when you saw a twitter reply accusing a&m players of being high, and then you threw a tantrum and blamed the reporter for saying that because you didn't know how a 16-year-old social media app worked?

That was probably a bad call, but drew the flag because he stared down the crowd.
The idea that you think that entirely disproves that sips are entitled fricking pussies who bitched to the Big 12 refs about the horns down is laughable.

*is shown the exact same thing happening for a&m*
"But... that was totally different!!!!!

Lol - never change aggies.
Also, please show me the proof where the Big 12's anti-taunting rule (something that already exists in the SEC) was implemented because of longhorn influence. I'm sure you'll be able to dig up a link in no time.
