They should’ve lost to Ohio State, Tennessee, Bama (natty game), and GA Tech this decade. Credit where it’s due, Kirby finds ways to win
There were many more than that, although the Bama title game is BS.
The easy answer to the OP's question is that Saban was essentially the only coach better than Kirby.

As the week goes on, I feel better and better.
Home field is massive our RB's are grinders. If the right side is serviceable, the ground game will be what takes over.
If we can't get to Simpson and he isn't a threat to run, then we could be playing catch up all game, similar to Tenn game.

I am holding out hope that Alabama's offensive line really is too fat and slow to pass block on the road when it's loud and they can't hear the snap count.
This would be huge for us.

I’m saying teams were built from a roster/scheme standpoint with beating Bama as their top priority. Georgia happened to counter those builds as they were built to beat Bama, but did so unsuccessfully
Milroe is the perfect example of a Bama offense built to beat Georgia. His mobility/difficulty to tackle+strong arm was a perfect counter to a blitz heavy man 3-4 defense

Georgia fans are told that Kirby built Georgia in Alabama's image so Georgia's success doesn't really count.
And now you're telling us the only reason Georgia has been successful is because they're not like Alabama.
This shite's getting confusing!!!

What if Deboer and the OC have a read on the Kirby/Lanning defense?
If they did they went blind in the second half of the game last year.

Sorry...but living from Derek Dooley through Jeremy Pruitt, I'm used to off-season starting around the same time as the Autumnal Equinox. My bad.

Yep UGA has a Bama problem and OSU has a Michigan problem

Don't play Alabama? They cheat as much as Oklahoma?

Are you saying they were countering those teams at the same time as being built to beat Bama? Or that they were countering them BECAUSE they were built to beat Bama? Only the first one would make sense.
Imo the 2019 LSU/2020 Bama teams are who everyone's chasing. Nobody short of an NFL team has enough DBs to slow down 3-4 all-world receivers and nobody short of another loaded offense can keep up in the shootouts. Both those teams would smoke the early Saban era ground & pound teams, yes even the legendary 2011 Bama defense.
UGA didn't win a natty by sneaking up on folks, we won because we finally had multiple of those 1st rd receiver types on offense at the same time as a 2 year stretch of elite defense. Other than the 2017 Rose Bowl, we hadn't been able to keep up with elite offenses until the 2022 OSU game
