Fortunately not quite the same as Fromm situation as all of these kids are 5* and there isn't the immediately obvious talent gap

I'm starting to get really confused as to why these kids commit to schools with crowded QB rooms.

Maybe he realizes he doesn’t have to start right away. It’s okay.

He ruined Auburn? Put our D roster in a pretty good spot before he left.

Forest vs Trees...

How much sooner would Gus have been gone if he hadn't, eh? What did it amount to?

Agent Muschamp clearly operating at ninja like levels compared to average Auburn fan IQ.

Kirby is the QB whisperer man. Convinced JT and Newman to come to UGA and now He gets the two top QB's in their class back to back?

One of the kids is leaving at some point. I think Gunner might think this over at some point and commit elsewhere.

I kinda wish we'd gone after MJ Morris more, he's less of a sure thing at the next level but has a really high ceiling.

Monken is the one that convinced JT Daniels to come, and Monken is the main reason Stockton committed to Georgia.

He whispered to Eason and Fields that he wanted to play a an unathletic, below average, small handed dude that was happy just handing the ball off instead of an actual QB.

Are you saying South Carolina could have had a 5-star QB had they just kept Muschamp?

Yes. and Muschamp is a better coach than Beamer anyhow.

Gunner Stockton wanted to play for Will Muschamp and Mike Bobo. He's gotta be dumber than dirt.

Fromm was a better College QB than Eason. I'm with you on Fields, but Fromm > Eason and it wasn't close.

Bobo was the QB coach for the all time leading passer in the SEC and another QB who was the #1 pick in the draft.

Kirby a QB whisperer? Holy shite thank you very much for the good laugh I really needed that! Was his QB whispering why y’all lost Fields to play check down Fromm? Or what about the all world play of Stetson Bennett and D’Wan Mathis? How did Jamie Newman turn out for y’all? You Georgia fans are a trip. Do y’all feel as stupid as you look when you bark like a dog? Did y’all enjoy those last two beatdowns LSU handedly y’all? Yeah those were fun.

Yeah, really just poking fun at that allegiance. He could be a good one. A SCAR fan I know hated to lose him but accepts that Beamer is probably a better path forward than the Muschamp+Bobo regime. I tend to agree...I think the OU offense has good bones and despite the QB headliners is actually one of the best run offenses in the nation over the last half decade.

How long ago was that though? In 2020-2021, Bobo was kinda running last-gen offensive strategy. He was an upgrade over what SCAR had prior but merely because he ran a coherent, organized offense. Still, it is an offense that doesn't take all the easy money out there with more modern spread approaches.

Fromm was there to hand the ball off. Eason wanted to actually play QB.

All that matters is that Fromm was better than Eason. Kirby picked the right one no matter what kind of silly spin you want to attach to them.
