The first half was a better representation of the two teams than the second half.
I'm gonna "Sure,Jan" my own fan base
But, let's be real, the iconic play from that game came with 2 minutes to play in the 4th, so that's part of the second half, if you will

The refs let things go on both sides of the ball.. the whole game. There is zero reason to even bring them up.

Georgia literally just started defending the edge. That was basically the only adjustment defensively, they stopped letting Bama get outside containment at will.

Alabama’s lead was all about Beck giving it to them. Beck had 3 picks, a fumble and took a safety. Officials and a “script” sounds ridiculous.
Add that to game script saying Georgia has to go balls to the wall for 4 downs EVERY single set of downs and you get a half like we saw.
It was artificially manufactured.
If they played next week and we were all discussing matchups, we’d all be saying Alabama has a significant advantage running against Georgia, as well as against Georgia’s run game.
We’d also agree Alabama has the advantage on defense, and through the air, no?

How many huge leads did Saban blow? Only one I can think of off the top of my head is the Cam Newton game.
One pass saved DeBoer from a ton of scrutiny most people are trying to gloss over.

I think the scrutiny is massively overblown. And I think that’s the exact type game Saban would have blown.
The last few year’s Saban was not your 2011 Saban. He’d have had Alabama going 3 and out and punting all 2nd half and the refs would have still allowed Georgia to get away with too much while hamstringing Alabama.
A recent Saban secondary would have been TORCHED last night.

I don’t think Georgia “found” anything in that 2nd half. And I don’t think the 2nd half should make anyone think, “ohh, yeah the at game would be close every game if they played it 100 times.”
I think Georgia has SERIOUS issues that people won’t consider after seeing that 2nd half. And I think Alabama is only getting better from here.
You’re coming off as a complete loser. You won. I don’t see why you feel the need to defend it so hard.
You’re also completely irreverent to the mere thought that Georgia was maybe a little bit better than their first half showed. But you would probably, with a completely straight face, say Alabama is no less than the team that ran away with a 28-0 lead before Georgia had even realized a game was going on. Which is evidenced by your “Bama will get better, Georgia will get worse” comment quoted above.
Classic Bama narcissism.

Georgia’s comeback was largely manufactured by a gassed defense.

In what scenario?
I’d be willing to discuss any game they felt that way after.
That’s my favorite thing about CFB. It’s SO media driven and storyline heavy that we all have wildly varying views of the same teams and same games even.
Folks being shocked at lines every week is fun(Auburn this weekend is a good example).
I think Georgia’s success in this game was largely manufactured.
Johnny Football says the same thing about you guys in 2012.

Bend your tenner smooth brain take all you want. Your pumpkins are getting stomped in Sanford. One thing Kirby has perfected is stopping Bobby’s HS offense

I don't think there was honestly some conspiracy. That is dumb.
Bama looked at the scoreboard a bit. UgA made good adjustments on defense. And, their offensive plan was solid. Long grinding drives in the third with the advantage of going 4 downs a series mindset. It gassed the Bama D. Then, they opened up the throttle into the 4th qtr and took advantage of a tired Bama D and inexperienced secondary. It was a great plan and showed their strength and resilience as a team.
DeBoer noted the UGa Defensive adjustments and some players in the wrong positions and coaching decisions in the second half that hampered the Bama offense. Had Bama stopped just one of those 4th down conversions, it's likely a very different end result. But, they didn't and it was an all-time classic.
End of the day, it was two really good teams playing a great football game. Would say the same had Bama lost
