And Alabama would be in without the Auburn loss.

College Football is an unforgiving mistress.

Make one mistake, and she bites your head off.

I love it!

Congrats to LSU for an AMAZING job this year! You baws deserve to be ecstatic.

I am truly envious.

Lsu did such a good job from 2001-2011 that it was easy to pick on the decline. Nice to be back.

Hey Tennessee.

lol

LSU really did an amazing job despite your continuous "decline".

Very nice blueprint and definition for endurance.

Endurance: the fact or power of enduring an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way.

Coach O and LSU have really lived up to that definition in 2019.

Impressive.

They tried claiming the South Carolina loss was irrelevant

They would have definitely been in the conversation had they not lost

I agree.

And, they thought that beating Notre Dame would save them.

Foolish fanbase.

This. UGA was just too beat up and too unimaginative on O. And that Oline was overrated.

We tanked the rest of the year to make sure Georgia didn't get in the playoff.

They both lost twice though.

Also I don’t think they would have. Alabama’s schedule was so terrible that Oklahoma would have still jumped them and Georgia got beat so damn bad would they really have put them in at 4 to play the same team, in the same stadium 3 weeks later? It was a 4 TD win.

No, we wouldn't. LSU was a bad, bad loss. We would not be in.

You do know we lost two games, right?

Nothing unusual about this.

It was, actually. If we had won the LSU game we would have been in the playoffs. Are you under the impression we would not have gone if we had won the SECCG?

SECCG was too ugly. No way we would have gone or even been in the conversation.

I didn’t say that at all

Are you implying a loss to #1 LSU (doesn’t matter the score) is worse than a loss to Kansas State?

I agree y’all probably get left out anyways, but saying you wouldn’t even be in the conversation seems to be a coping mechanism

Yeah because everybody is clamoring to see another neutral site game between LSU and Georgia again.

Nope

And

Nope.

UGA had a USCe loss and a smack down by a CFP team, committee doesn't want to watch that game again in 4 weeks.

Bama's schedule, defense, poor execution, STs play minus Waddle, etc. aside, a 1 loss Non-Conf Champ is not jumping a P5 1 loss Conf Champ. CFP won't let it happen.

The only way it could happen is if a team is unequivocally better. Had UGA gotten a narrow and possibly controversial win over LSU, I think LSU would have had the only real chance to jump a P5 conference champ with the same record. But, only because of their schedule, talent and season long performance compared to OUs. Still, it would have been the controversy that drove us to an expanded playoffs.
