Which semi final is first? I dont think the zebras will be too eager to give their employer 2 teams from the same conference
UGA plays first: OU, then they beat bama
Bama plays first and wins: OU.
Bama plays first and loses: UGA, beat Clems
In my conspiracy theorist-ish opinion...

That’s part of it but it stuck out like a soar thumb as well. OU white ball mixed in with Georgia stuff.

Were you also missing 6 starters when Baylor had the ball with a chance to win it with a minute left in the game?
When your Oklahoma, you're everyone's super bowl. It's just the way it is when you've been selected at the number one school all-time. Teams like Baylor and Iowa State hang their season on beating you.

Congrats, it is special to play in the Rose Bowl. I love to see teams from the south go out there. The B1g and PAC boys created their deal to keep southern teams from going out there and beating arse!

speed on speed game.
honestly, whomever is put in the right spots to make plays, and does the best mixing it up with play calling.
at this point, with teams this evenly matched talent wise, it will come down to coaching.

"Well you SEC fans love to brag about how competitive and tough your league is do you not? If your flagship program finds itself down 6 starters in a game against a middle of the pack team in your league, that middle of the pack team should be able to win that game if your league is truly competitive as you say it is. That's what a competitive league really looks like right?
Meanwhile, Bama skated through your league with a MASH unit on defense and a smoke show of an offense all year long and it didn't catch up to them until they played their rival Auburn, and they still made the playoffs. Even when Saban has one of his "less than stellar teams" none of you can do anything about it.
And isn't that what Bob Stoops was talking about? Yes......yes it is."
Very good point IMO!

Asking this shite on an SEC message board expecting unbiased answers. Man, this is rich.

We saw what happened to thUGA's defense when they played Auburn's offense at full strength (40 points). Baker Mayfield and Chokelahoma WRs are much better than what Auburn has. Oh, and they don't have a buffoon like GusShortBus as HC. OU wins

This is just my opinion, but Georgia fans shouldn't get too excited if your team is chewing up yards on the ground in the first half. For whatever reasons, this OU defense tends to play static in the 1st half, then adjust at halftime.
Having said that, OU has 2 defensive linemen (Lampkin and Gallimore) that will probably be 1st rounders. Both weigh in the 300's and both are salty. We have a freshman middle linebacker, but he's built like a tank. And a likely high round draftee LB in Caleb Kelly who can cover lots of ground and has a nose for the ball. And a small LB in Jeremy Beal, but he leads the team in tackles. He's sneaky quick, but has a tendency to get plowed over or miss tackles.
I don't think Georgia will run the ball as well as some think. Early in the game? No doubt they will. But that 2nd half is where OU will stiffen up.

If we control the clock and run the ball we win. Oklahoma defense has not been elite this year. They have been in a lot of shootouts against bad teams.
FIFY.
UGA wins handily or should if they don't shite the bed with penalties.

I think the opposite will be true. We have 5 very high quality RBs in Chubb, Michel, Swift, Herrien, and Holyfield. As a unit, they get stronger as the game progresses. OU is not going to stop our run game, early or late.

To me it's the chicken or the egg theory.
Does the sec play great defense because of the crappy offenses they see every week?
Does Oklahoma play great offense because of the crappy defenses they see every week.
The great thing about this argument is....we're about to figure it out in 3 weeks.
As much as each side believes they're right. It's probably in the middle on both sides.
