Actually.....Missouri has improved a LOT lately. I was shocked when I watched them against Florida. I really thought Florida would beat them. Florida has a good running game, and a decently good secondary. It looked like Florida matched up well. But, I think Florida has quit, honestly. They are in trouble.

Even if GA loses this weekend, they look to be a dominant force in the East.

Honestly, I don't see any other team in the East that can compete with you. And Fl and TN will both likely be breaking in a new staff.

You have to think GA is looking at good long run for several years in the SECCG.

I can assure you they are trolling. Most are confident from the looks on our board, but most are very nervous and understand that Auburn will be tough and could win this game. A couple of our board actually count this game as a loss, already for us.

Yep cause Miss St only ran for 177yd and UF only ran for 183yds on UGA. Auburns rushing stats are on par with MSU and UF is 10th in the conference. The other thing AU has unlike UF and MSU is the threat of the deep ball.

MSU ran for 100+ in garbage time iirc.

UF game was never competitive.

AVG for both teams.
46 AU
65 UGA

Not surprising that the 6 opponents GA held to under 65 yards rushing have a higher average than AU's opponents, whom AU failed to hold under 100.

MisterTee and AU24 should be taken with a grain of salt

I know. it's odd how certain posters can get under your skin. mister tee doesn't bother me at all, but I get aggravated with AU24, for some reason. Same for jangalang, and phan.

Just using your own logic

So yes bragging about holding some of the worst rushing offenses to minimal yards is meaningless..

So what exactly are you saying?

If you don't think we have a top 5 defense both statistically and talent wise you're a complete idiot.

Once again we held the one the best rushing offenses in the nation to 55 yards in our only close game.

higher average is worse these are rush rankings. so yes its not surprising you held bad teams to bad stats...

I agree. but we are hungry to be a force in the SEC. We are this year, but we want to put a nice run together and be strong for quite awhile.

We should be at the top for the next 2-3 years minimum. But, I never count Florida out. They could turn things around fast.

As long as we win a couple of those! I do not want to get blown out!

I think what he's saying is that UGA contributed to those bad stats.

SEC caliber D doesn't mean a lot these days

Da fuq? that is not even close to my logic.

not that hard to comprehend. the poster was bragging about holding bad rush teams to bad stats and using that in comparison to much better rush teams.

I never said anything like this, did I

okay, one game, on a team that is one dimensional. That is also pretty much the only team of merit you have played. Auburn is not one dimensional and has a very good rush as well.

Like I have stated numerous times, game will be close

one game hardly decreases stats that much after 9 games. Plain and simple, outside of ND those are horrible rush teams

Honestly, most conferences look kind of shitty this year.

We heard all the talk about how good the big10 are... but their marque team OH ST, got crushed in two games this season.

Big12 makes me physically ill watching them play --- teams giving up close to 50 points and still winning.

ACC --- well Clemson looks pretty good, but Miami seems to just squeak by in most games.

PAC--- LOL I am to old to stay up late enough to watch them.

It just makes it hard to tell which teams are good --- mainly because almost every team seems to have some serious flaws that have been exploited in bad match ups.

They clearly aren't world-beaters, but dropping 40 yards rushing in a game has a pretty big effect. 9 games isn't that many.

Alabama, Georgia, and Auburn play legitimately good defense. South Carolina, LSU, and MSU are reasonable.

That's it.

9 games is 3/4 of a season and go look at their other productions, they are bad. which is why many of them are ranked near the worst in the country.

It's still a small enough number that dropping 30 yards in a game hurts your average significantly.

I'm not arguing that they are good rushing teams. I do think discounting the ND performance is dubious.
