He won't start this week, but I have a feeling that he gets a lot more snaps against LSU than he has so far

I think Fields is the better talent.
However, I’m comfortable this year in letting both guys push each other along. If they can continue to keep the defense guessing by rotating some times and there is no obvious signs of confusion , then why not.
This spring though, it will be a full on controversy; because I don’t believe Fromm is a 3 and done guy; and you can’t sit Fields.

You mean the one play a qb went under center, uga is in shotgun 99% of the time now, since we don’t use a fullback. Sorry for the confusion. That means nothing. He also has the ability to take a busted play and turn it into a first down.
It amazing to me how it’s slways excuses for Fromm’s mistakes and he’s not ready when Fields makes one. Ridiculous.

No they went with clearly better QBs. Have y'all watched Fields play this year? He's looked like he barely knows the playbook let alone what to do if the first read isn't there.
Fromm is miles better ATM. This is nothing like Jalen/Tua last year.

What are you smoking...Fields hasn't learned to check down properly, still doesn't know all of the plays like Fromm and ultimately has no ability to audible into the better play.

We're no. 2 in the country. We're not gonna use this season to get Fields ready next year. If Fields can learn the playbook and command the offense very well, he could beat Fromm out next year. But Fromm gives us the better chance to win now. Coaches are handling it great IMO. Using Fields in key situations in the first and second half is what we should be doing now. But Fromm gives us the best chance over the long haul this year.
