One thing about the @BaseballUGA job is that I was told throughout the process that UGA was unwilling to pay premium dollar for a head coach. That in itself limited its options to either A) assistants or B) mid-major head coaches.

Where did this quote come from?

Disappointing if true

Wonder if he will finish the season with LSU, I would guess he does.

Is this an upgrade for GA?
Not a knock on Wes Johnson because he’s a pretty good coach.
There’s just so many other coaches out there I’d consider for HC of an SEC program first.

When you have the time, spend some time through old Tiger Rant threads and see if you can find more than 2% of posters enamored with Johnson.

Complete douchebag. 116 years later and Will Wade is back coaching with nothing but a slap on the wrist.

Hawg fans, Moo St. ranters have already blamed him for the rash of injuries to their staff. How do Hawg fans feel about him in this regards? Every staff has injuries but I recall bith teams getting hit pretty hard. And then LSU loses 2-3 possible weekend starters before the season ever got started basically.

Sure would be a shame if Jay Johnson reunites with one of his former pitching coaches ……..
