Kirby changed the environment here and ignited the program again. With these exact same players we would’ve lost 1 more game than we did and would’ve lost the SECCG.
Seems he’s found his passion again at Miami and he will do well there and that program needs a coach like Richt.

This is the difference that I noticed and what changed to make this a damn good team. When the players buy in to what the Coach is selling that's when the team starts winning and
believing in themselves.
Sure there could be a drop off next year, then again there may not be. Next years team will be with the program, and it's not like the younger kids are not any good.

Nope.
Kirby has instilled an edge to this team that Richt never could.

Richt teams just haven't had "it" in the past 6/7 years.
They would lose to teams that they were suppose to lose too
