Watch the Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia Tech games to see how Georgia improved over the season. We can handle a dual-threat QB rather well. Can Texas handle a team that is 13th in total offense, total defense, and 16th in scoring in the nation?

My BIL is a big Texas fan. He texted me when the matchup was announced. All his text said was "frick".

I am very concerned that Georgia may be looking at this as a consolation prize while Texas is looking at this as a chance to make a big statement. Based on matchups, if Georgia is motivated, they should roll Texas. Georgia's running game should be able to do whatever they want. Again though, I'm very concerned about Georgia matching Texas's intensity.

My cousin is a UT grad and season ticket holder and all he emailed me was "We're getting our shite packed" and he wasn't talking about making the trip to Nola.

This was honestly my thoughts as well. The matchup doesn't favor the Horns. I have faith in Herman to put together a solid gameplan, but UGA's talent level, at this point, is FAR greater than what we are going to run out there.

Nothing against our guys, but Kirby has done a phenomenal job loading the Bulldogs up with a ton of talent.

If we can keep it close going into the 4th quarter, I like our chances, only because we've been battling in close games all year long.

Georiga's RBs are also SCARY. 2 guys averaging over 6.5 yards per carry... wow

The Big 12 doesn't play defense, so I'm curious what you guys will do if you can't score 40 points on Georgia?

Georgia's o line & tailbacks should be a serious issue for Texas. Texas has seen better passing attacks in OU, WVU, and even OSU. Stopping the run should be UT's biggest goal. They have the lb and dbs to do it. But i don't have faith in Tx d line.

UT score only 21 against Tulsa, it could be ugly for them.

The 3rd and 4th RBs off the bench are over 6 ypc as well. Hope your LBs have good legs.

Burrow had a 106 Qb efficiency rating. It wasn't his 2nd worst because he kind of sucks. But 50% completion, 6.7 ypa, and 0 TDs isn't good.

This echoes very familiar to what the dirt farmers were saying last year before the Rose Bowl, and Jake Fromm tore them up. Just because UGA's identity is run-first doesn't mean we can't light you up in the air.

Fromm is #1 in the SEC in completion percentage.

Fromm is #2 in the SEC in Passer Rating.

Fromm is #2 in the SEC for TD/INT ratio.

Fromm is #3 in the SEC in YPA (by 0.1 yd)

Not Lock, not Bentley, not Stidham, not Fitzgerald.

Jake Fromm. The true sophomore.

He's a warrior. And his receivers are five-star badasses.

Why not? In Herman's career, he has only lost 4 games by 7 or more points.

We know UGA can pass. But it pales in comparison to the teams i listed especially WVU.

Texas DL is truly terrible. UGA shouldn't have to pass the ball much at all, as this is a finesse team, incapable of competing in the trenches. Their highly rated classes are nothing but DB's and WR's.

I have to be honest. The average UGA fan could not care less about this bowl, but fans will show up and so will the team. Kirby will demand no less. Sux that a #5 team has to play a #15 team, but it is what it is. I have lots of UT relatives and they are much more excited about this game than I am. And if we were #15 playing #5 I'd feel the same way.

If our guys can muster some "give a shite", it'll be a blowout. If not, it'll be close for 3 quarters.

Neither is the OL. Or the LB's, or essentially any position outside of WR and DB
