I come in peace UGA fans.

What are some of your thoughts on the matchup?

One on-the-field matchup I'm really looking forward to is Collin Johnson vs Deandre Baker.

Collin is our 6'6 behemoth of a WR who has really made significant strides this season. He has gotten better at using his big frame to come down with jump balls that Ehlinger tends to throw his way (some are back-shoulder type throws, others are just prayers). However, if Collin really is thinking about making the jump to the NFL, he's going to need to prove that he can do it against THE BEST CB in the nation.

Also, what is UGA's NB situation like? Lil'Jordan is our slot guy, and he has put up some monster numbers for us this season. Another big body guy who isn't your prototypical Big 12 WR.

I'm honestly not sure what to expect. Texas has been a part of 9 games decided by 7 points or fewer this year (my heart). Regardless, looking forward to NOLA and being a part of a NY6 bowl. Not many of us would have predicted this after Week 1.

UGA has one of the best pass defenses in the SEC.
Tua, Lock, Bentley, etc.. all have their worst or 2nd worst day against us.

Nickel DB is a weakness on what is considered a good pass defense. Both outside corners will be playing on Sundays. Safeties are average.

It will be close for a half, but our oline wears down your defense in the second half. UGA wins 38-17

Looking forward to a great game on 01/01 between two good teams. As for UGA, the team is real young and has played a lot of players all year. It is amazing to me how much they have improved over the season. You can't try to single out any one player at any position because they are truly a team. The weak link would have to be defensive front seven, It has been that way all year but they were able to give Bama they wanted last week and are starting to step up the defense. Look for a team of very good, well coached, athletes that play fast.

And if the longhorns need a map to play a team outside Texas, glad to accommodate. Sure would hate for them to get lost even if it is only one state away.

This wouldn't surprise me. That is my biggest fear. If our defense isn't able to apply pressure to Fromm (Omenihu has 9.5 sacks on the year, which leads the Big 12), then it will be a long day for our CBs. Although Kris Boyd was 1st-Team All-Big 12, I don't trust that guy in coverage. There is a reason he leads the Big 12 in pass breakups... he gets picked on A LOT.

Fromm seems like he has improved a ton this year.

You don’t have to keep tossing around bona fides like your players awards or size. We know Texas is a capable team, good talent, and had a decent season. Like most bowls, who knows what we will get. He past season means very little in determining how these games go.

I like what I’ve seen of your QB. Tough guy and good leader.

If hurts passes all over UGA then...Texas will do the same.

Should be a good game until about mid way through the 3rd or the start of the 4th. Our MLBs scare in in coverage against you guys. Your mobile qb makes me a little nervous but I think we can shut your run game down and run the ball down your throat.

And if UGA can run and pass on Bama, they will be able to do so on Texas.

UGA can move the chains by staying out of 3rd and long. It keeps pressure on the defense and allows Fromm to carve them up through the air. I hate Georgia but they are gonna suffocate the Horns. Texas has absolutely zero chance to win this game.

Believe it was a knee issue that flared up. He missed the game vs TTU I think and it slowed him for the next couple of games after that. But then he came back and set the Big 12 Championship game record with 177 receiving yards.

Not expecting anything like that against Georgia though. Would be happy if he broke 77

UGA is prepping for Texas's starter.

Should be similar to the Georgia tech game.

it cannot be overstated how badly A&Ms move fricked the general psyche of UT and OU fanbases. there is nothing they want more than to see A&M fail and, by extension, the SEC

I haven't watched a single Texas game this season so I know nothing about them, except they are apparently good enough to get into the Sugar Bowl so they aren't exactly chopped liver.

If we can lose to a shitty LSU team, we can lose to Texas.

The beauty of our vanilla offense is that it is vanilla, there's really no gameplanning or trickery behind it, or to defeat it. It is basic smashmouth stuff.

On defense, I suppose there's stuff Herman could draw up to misdirect and move the ball and score points on us.

I think this will be a good game. I'm excited about it. Most dawg fans were pissed about the consolation prize but I was excited. Texas in New Orleans in the Sugar Bowl is awesome.

And only a few games away is UGA vs Aggy in 2019 in Athens.
