Does -15 Georgia sound about right? I think we were -10 @ tOSU last year.
Oregon was most certainly not favored in Columbus. I think that line was Ohio State -14 or so.
Oregon is replacing a lot and has Bo Nix at QB. I think Georgia should be able to line up and beat Oregon comfortably playing manball. I expect 250ish rushing yards for Georgia.

What specifically brought you to that conclusion?
Utah lined up and whipped the shite out of Oregon twice in three weeks at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Georgia is going to bring a similar gameplan with a lot more talent.

The only question that matters to me… will the Ducks be more physical than they were in the 2 Utah games last year? If not, UGA makes them quit by the end of the 3rd quarter. If yes, I see UGA by about 10.

Who is Oregon replacing?

By the time Oregon played Utah, the entire starting DL was out. When Oregon played Oklahoma, we had a true frosh OG start at nose tackle.
As I said earlier, the amount of games missed from injury was a once in every 20 years type of event.
Also, Cristobal put zero effort into those games. He was already flying to Miami the week of the game to work on his Miami deal.
I am sorry but you think we went to whooping on Ohio State's lines to getting whooped by Utah and something didn't happen in between to explain that?

Anthony Brown???
Oregon is returning 7/8 OL.
Nix is an upgrade at QB. The WRs are an upgrade over last year. TE are definitely an upgrade over last year.
By all accounts, the running back room is in good shape.

Most of my responses are rebuttals to the "we are going donky kong on your arse and you won't know what hit you" type of posts.
You are choosing to focus on those types of posts instead of mine for some reason.
With that said, Uga going domination style isn’t a knock on your program. We do that to most teams we play. Even good teams that can make the playoffs.

I've said that a blowout is a real possibility. It seems like you want to be fellated over and over again.
Oregon is also talented and capable of making this a hard game. That can be true as well. Georgia is turning over a lot of talent. Oregon is turning over an entire staff. There's a lot of questions to be answered.
I do believe that we upgraded our staff massively on the defensive side of the ball. I have no fricking clue about about the offensive side of the ball.

That’s more like it. Perhaps like Baylor 2021? Top 10 would be a slight drop off from #1.

This is a pretty fair take. Oregon never got whipped like that under Cristobal in the trenches. I would've thanked the man on his way out if he hadn't laid an egg like that when there was so much on the line. He did a lot for the program.
Now, I want to see Miami do him dirty like they did to Diaz.

Wrong dawgs. I think you are referencing Miss St.

UGA’s defense will drop off but their offense will be very good. The championship in LA will be UGA v Bama again. There’s no one else in this conference at this point that can beat either team. I got a lot of shite from my Florida brethren the last 2 years ripping on Mullen - but the reason I did is bc I saw the bigger picture. UGA and Bama have stock piled talent while the rest of the conference contenders have fallen off a cliff. There are literally no other contenders in this entire conference which means there’s pretty much a clear path to the title game for both of them. I think UGA takes a huge step back on defense next year but they will be back in the playoffs. I also think Bama beats them twice this season. Bama’s defense this season is going to be unreal and they have the best QB.

Our speed and physicality will be the difference, especially on defense. The PAC-12 just doesn’t regularly see the kind of defense that SEC teams play. It’s a grown man’s game for 4 quarters. Ask Michigan.

That was kind of funny actually. Diaz bailed on Temple for Miami after 18 days of holding the job. What goes around, comes around.

I would take the college version of Kellen Moore every day of the week. Ftr....Bennett runs better than Moore did, too.

Those sound like excuse for underperformance.
Weren't you just talking about injuries for Oregon being the cause of some of their losses? There is a difference between explanations and excuses.

However, my point is you can expect some underperformance in the first game. Touché
And Oregon? Can they expect underperformance?

Yes, it just favors the inferior team though. That’s why you see FBS teams lose to FCS teams more in week 1.

Or does it favor the team that isn’t installing a new O and new D in a road environment with a new qb and head coach?

Lanning is a stud. You got a good one. I think UGA wins but really excited about the game.
