Oh, so you’re using the “eye test” instead of facts. Carry on with your bs then.

Every year when Saban was at Bama, you felt it. The freight train was rolling down the track once again. You don't feel that with UGA. Yes, you've won a couple, but there's a chink in the armor. Bama without Saban will likely issue an "L" to the listless UGA squad this weekend.

You know when other teams’ fans start talking about the “feel” of things they have no idea about, your team’s in a good spot.

Look at you counting garbage stats for Clemson.

Nc state Half time vs Clemson :

45-7

Nc state half time vs vols:

20-3

Do the math on that.

Which is why I said

"if we are going to play that game"

If my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. Though that might not be true in 2024.

Wasn't NC State starting a backup against Clemson?

You think so? Well I'm at #1 and you're about to take an L. But have it your way.

This is weak sauce even for a vol fan. Cope harder!

Even if UGA takes an L this week, they’ll still be just as much in the mix as they are now, which you presumably know.

Most teams start a backup somewhere on the field every game.

Are you saying that explains why the Clemson offense was much better than the vols offense?

Simmer down, Francis. You’re just a fan. Nothing you do affects the team

App St 132 in total defense
NCST 106

Clemson is actually worse than NCST in total D at 108…

Clemson is not good at football and hasn’t been in years.

Again, NC State I'm comparing them directly to what Tennessee did against them.

Clemson was better offensively and similar defensively... until they put their backups in. Once their backup QB came in after Clemson was up 52-7 with 9 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter (and they put in backups on both sides of the ball), NCSU scored 28 more points and Clemson only scored 7 on a pick 6. So Clemson's backups are obviously not up to the same level their starters are.

But their starters on offense and defense look pretty good.

Against App State they put their backups in at half time. Clemson was up 56-13 at the half.

The evidence suggests that Clemson's starting offense and defense are both good enough to dominate lesser teams. Just not good enough to do much offensively against a defense like UGA's or stop UGA for more than a half on defense.

Clemson is not a top 10 team most likely. But they DO look like a legitimate top 25 team. UGA tends to dominate teams in the 15-25 range though. Like Tennessee last year (38-10... 17th), Oregon in 2022 (49-3... 15th), MSU in 2022 (45-19... 20th), SC in 2022 (48-7... 23rd), UK in 2021 (30-13... 18th) or Arkansas in 2021 (37-0... 21st).

It's normal for a team in the 15-25 range to struggle against a team like UGA. You have to judge them on the rest of their games, not the trouncing UGA gives them. And right now Clemson is playing well in the rest of their games. Time will tell if that holds up, but frankly I don't see a whole lot of challenge to their schedule. Louisville... maybe FSU or SC but that's really it in terms of games even remotely difficult remaining other than a possible ACC championship game (against Miami perhaps).

You said "leg injury".

Harrison didn't injure his leg as far as I recall. I think he just took a shot to the shoulder and decided it hurt too much.

The fallacy of transitive thinking. The Vols pulled starters late in the 3rd and just coasted in a game NCST had high hopes in. Clemson got a team out of the top 25, with a different QB and had given up.

Cumulative numbers can’t erase this but they can mitigate it.

Clemson isn’t a good football program. They haven’t been a good football team in years and likely will not be good again til they do something about Swiney. The QB they have is incredibly inconsistent. And has been since his 1st start vs Joe Milton’s Vols in a 2022 bowl game. He’s a 2 to 1 TD to Int guy that is statue at QB. The run game is the best aspect of the O but can’t compensate for bad QB play.

That has nothing to do with UGA nor UT, they just are not very good.

That’s the biggest mistake UGA made. They come in here calling themselves blue bloods not realizing Clemson did the same shite. Florida probably did in 2008 too.

It is really hard to sustain dominance. Only one who’s done it over a long period of time to that extent is Bama in the Saban years, but even Bama is done too.

There’s more parity now, and certain teams will skate to the top for a bit, one or two of them will sustain dominance but everyone else will get dethroned regularly.

Holy shite yer fking stupid.

Here, maybe this will help (if you can, in fact, read, which I doubt)

Here are NCState's passing stats vs UT

Here are NCState's passing stats vs Clemson

Notice anything different? Wait, what am I saying? We've already established that you're a fukkn stupid. So let me spell it out for you:

UT played against NCState's 1st team QB.

Clemson played against the scrub backups.

Now, go back into your closet and quiver like the frightened, insecure little puppy you are.

I am not on the board a lot but if someone were claiming we were a blue blood or anything like that it was probably one of the 10,000 ALT accounts on here
