They know it’s their year. They know they clearly have the better team. They know everyone will pick them to finally beat Bama.
But deep down, they are scared shitless. They also know Kirby isn’t a great coach. They also know their teams have underperformed in big games. They also know Saban is across the field and has their number. They will act confident, but it’s all a shield for their fear. They know 1980.

Everyone knows Georgia is gonna win it. Just like everyone knew LSU was gonna win it. It's that obvious. They have the talent and the confidence.
You can just see how far they are beyond everyone else. Sure, things happen and they still might. They could lose, but no really one believes that.
And it's not like Coach O was any brilliant mastermind. He still won it all. The product on the field speaks for itself. They're hungry to win.

More to the point, Kirby is always talking about the leadership in the lockerroom. The standards set and policed by the players themselves. This run began last year when Davis and all those other draft eligible players decided to return.
Like those baws of Baton Rouge in 2019, this is a leadership driven team. They are playing for one another. It's special.
Credit to Kirby for assembling this roster, but you can't exactly coach leadership into people that don't have "it".
This team won't be denied.
Bama is one of the most undisciplined and penalized (albeit talented) squads in CFB.
UGA just shut out a rival with zero penalties.

They’d still call a multitude on the most undisciplined Alabama team I’ve seen in the Saban era.
