Used to hate these type of games...but it is growing on me.
I remember being soaked for Washington State and West Virginia a couple of years ago after a torrential downpour and having to endure 97 degrees and 100 percent humidity all day leading up to the game.
Still love those home and homes, though, but if it's just for the first game, after waiting all off-season, then it's not a bad trade-off.
Kudos too Jay Jacobs on this one.

Soooo...like every other game played in an NFL dome?
Cool.
Cool.

Nope. Just a really fun way to start the season for us. I like well thought out change for an opener that involves our team. War eagle, brother.

It will be packed and should be a fun, unique, atmosphere.
What is wrong with that?
Lighten up.

Jay Jacobs is a real innovator. Kudos to him for inventing the nonconference neutral site game to start the season.

You're a basic retard, but thanks for getting in on the thread. I am all for you guys venturing out on the interwebs.

i don`t like the neutral site trend, takes away a game from JH every year or at least every other year, but tomorrows high is supposed to be in the mid 90`s, the dome is going to feel really good in comparison.

Don't be mad because you have to travel to the middle of our country for a game no one cares about.
That is not anyone's fault but your own Athletic Director's. Bama screwed to pooch on this one. Next year will be epic though. Looking forward to watching.

In a way, you're suggesting all first week games should be played north of the Mason Dixon line.

LSU at Lambeax won't exactly be that bad.
Still better than what Bama is forced to deal with this year.
Nobody is driving to see that game tomorrow.

Honestly it was a little chilly last year, but the whiskey helped.

Don't make fun. Auburnites are not used to such things as the devil's tea and climate-controlled environments.
Isn't the expression "Were you raised in a Barn"? Some actually were. It's not polite to make fun.

You certainly told us. This negates 55-44. Auburn wins!

For what it's worth, I saw a ton of Alabama people today in Dallas. Probably 7 or 8 groups of them at the restaurant I had dinner at. I've seen quite a few cars with Bama decals as well.

For some reason it's always hot as hell and pouring down every opener in Auburn.
The women do look well in those situations, though...I have to admit.
Those sundresses look extra tight in just the right places after getting drenched by an afternoon thunderstorm.
Can't complain too much.
