The only chance for UGA to keep it close is to put pressure on Tua rushing 4 and blitzing one on occasion. With out pressure you will lose big.
Not saying you will not score, but I don't think you can outscore Bama.

Things have to be disguised for Tua.
Don't let him feel comfortable with presnap reads.

It is easier said than done.
But it has to be a mix of man, mix of zone, mix of blitzes. Tua is too good presnap to let him fire out quick decisions.

Kind of like Tua last year right?

Tua was allowed to run the whole playbook and pass even in garbage time. Fields isn't. Wonder why that is? Kirby won't even give him a series and only lets him come in to run or hand off then pulls him. We never did that with Tua.

At no point have I ever said Georgia can't win. Only that the system you run isn't conducive to beating us. shite happens. Not sure how we are going to get 24 points though. Our kicker is awful.

Bama will have their hands full in Atlanta.

That's very gracious of you, but we aren't beating y'all unless Mecole runs back every kickoff for a touchdown.

except for the whole losing by 20 points in back to back years thing. Bama hasn't lost by more than 14 since like 2003 maybe? definitely hasn't happened during Saban's tenure.

If you saw his Int Sat night , the receiver was open on the route but he was pressured and was 1-2 seconds late because he had to move away from the pressure. By then both defenders had the receiver covered up...

Georgia has a lot of growing up to do between now and then to make it a game. The early line is 13.5 and if I had to bet, I'd take Bama in a heart beat.

I was really just trying to be nice but I doubt we completely shut down their running game. Those guys are really good.

They are good. Swift is just now getting healthy after being injured. But, we won't be able to stay with Alabama this year. You're too strong. Tua was exactly what the doctor ordered. People who second guessed him in preseason were wrong.

If we were fully healthy on both lines I’d feel like we could be competitive but as of right now our already thin DL is missing 3 guys due to injury and we may not et them back for the rest of the year. Even if we can keep it close, it’s going to turn into another case of Bama running down our throats late because we don’t have the depth to hang, nevermind Tua and the Bama receivers being fat better than any previous meeting between the two teams. Just not a good matchup for us.

Lost by 15 in 2006.

Lost by 17 in 2004.

It's a phenomenal streak to have to go back to 2004 to have lost by more than two possessions.

Georgia I think has more talent than the early Bama teams.

Suffocating defense that allowed LSU to rush for 200+ yards?

Maybe he meant Alabama's defense. They only allowed 12 yards rushing for LSU?

I'm 100% sure he was talking about Georgia's defense

We have 3 games before Bama, he is being worked in more.

By the time we play, he will be adding a dimension.

So, yes...if you must know.

The first Saban Bama team was sprinkled with Thug want to bees'. By the end of the second year most were gone.

Kirby has been slow playing the Dawgs all season in order to pull the ultimate rope-a-dope on Bammer on December.

It will be glorious.
