Georgia - Worst Case Scenario

They go into the SECCG undefeated to play one-loss Alabama, and Saban punks Kirby yet again, and makes it into the playoffs.
Then, Alabama & Georgia rematch in the NCG, where Saban yet again beats Kirby, and wins his eighth national title.
How bad would that hurt the Bulldog nation?

Hardly. The worst case scenario is Florida beats us and then Tech beats us and we have no chance to make the playoffs.

I don't think Bama is beating Georgia this year in any scenario.

Worry about winning the games that will get y’all to atlanta.
Auburn has to be licking their chops after that showing in College Station.

I think a close loss to Bama in the SEC CG and then getting left out for 3 other P5 champs with 1-loss or better would be worse.
Their best team, schedule, and circumstances in 40 years to have a title shot, and they could be outside looking in at the CFPs.
No non-conf champ has jumped a P5 Conference champ for CFPs when loss records were equal.

That would hurt. I would prefer beating bama the first time.

It will be like 2012. The SECCG will be the de facto national championship game.

Exactly. 4/6 of our nattys have been with 1 loss. This is familiar territory for us.

Kind of love being the underdog.

Well, this isn't even close to being true. best team? Probably. The other stuff? Not even close.

Alabama fans will be running around saying we have said this, when it was an Alabama fan that started the thread and another that made the statement. You can't make this stuff up.

Save the What Ifs for Disney+ and let's focus on the next games to be played, mmmkay?
Y'all beat the Knoxville Sister-Kissers back into the Stone Age, and we'll keep our sights on the WLOCP.
Nothing in this world is guaranteed past that, right now.
