Was there ever any reason given for him being out? I heard he was slightly injured then I heard he was being disciplined.

Why is it that a huge portion of the absolute most talented wide outs are head cases? We have had a couple of them and then look at the NFL. Fruitcakes.

Anytime he’s out people assume it’s disciplinary.

The dude definitely isn’t a choir boy, but other than getting in the fight with the GT player and squirt water on Gitmo he hadn’t done anything.

There’s been a lot of fake news going on about him.

- Beat up a retarded kid in HS (did not happen)
- Failed all his classes and was getting kicked off the team in 2019 (Started by UF fan Twitter account)
- Suspended in 2020 (Weight room injury)

He has a reputation now. Any time he misses a game people assume he’s suspended.

He was suspended for the first half of the game before he got in the fight. He wasn't suspended just because.

Looking like it. He has had an upper body injury. (Pectoral muscle, maybe?)

I know, when did I say otherwise?

The fight with the GT player is the only real trouble he’s gotten in during his time at Georgia.

He was suspended the first half of that game. Again, he wasn't suspended just because. Violation of team rules was the cause, IIRC.

I'm not sure who's more upset at losing a recruit. AU fans with Pickens or LSU fans with Dylan Moses.

This is correct. I can't remember why he was suspended, though.

It's crazy though. I've watched him along the sidelines when Smart was instructing him and he always looks straight at Smart and is nodding. He seems to take the criticism well, but allows his emotions to get the best of him on the field. It has cost us a couple of times in games. He needs to grow up and mature. He has all of the traits needed to be great but might allow his head to keep him from greatness.

Yeah, AU fans definitely didn't want him and have never had a diva on the team

sure we wanted him just like you wanted Tank.

Dude has been at UGA two years and missed an entire game for transgressions. He should have been suspended for the water bottle BS. Again, you can have him. We have Seth. I will take that every day of the week. Of course Pickens does have three catches against Auburn in two years. That is a hard thing to get over.

I get it, but there have been whispers that Seth Williams has been a problem at Auburn. The, there was another WR at Auburn that constantly got into trouble. (I don't remember his name but I think he eventually transferred or was kicked off the team)

That said, this shouldn't turn into a, "Well, your player acts worse than our player!" thing. We all have players that cause our coaches problems from time to time, and because they are "our" problem child, we tend to defend them. For fans from one team to point other fingers at players on other teams as trouble makers seems rather short sighted. We can both 9Auburn and Georgia fans) go back and find players who have been less than "choir boys".

That is exactly what happened. Duke Williams. He was suspended for the entire Outback Bowl......not a half. At a later date, he got in a fight with another player and was booted from the team.

People can talk all the shite about Gus they want. He doesn't care who you are............he is not going to let a cancer survive on his team.

Does not square with this statement: Yeah, everybody wants a prima donna like that.

I do, however still get aggravated that we chased that other troubled RB out of Texas (Zach Evans) and left Tank to Auburn. I really like Tank and he has proven to be an outstanding pickup for you guys.

Come on, dude. How many transgressions did Auburn put with from Duke Williams and have from Seth Williams? I mean, yes. Auburn eventually kicked Duke off the team, but don't pretend that he was kept until he became intolerable.

We have Seth.
I have heard from several sources (yeah, I know...sauces and all) that Seth Williams is an absolute handful for Gus.

Success against one team is not the only way to determine a players worth. It is a body of work, and also the attention a receiver gets that allows other players to get free. This year, Auburn paid close attention to Pickens which allowed Kearis Jackson to break free for 9 catches and 147 yards.

That is very similar comparison to Georgia paying attention to Seth Williams (3 catches 31 yards) that allowed Schwartz to go for 8 catches and 57 yards)

Out of curiosity...what was he suspended for? I mean....seriously> Squirting water on an opposing player? certainly punishable, but a suspension for an entire game? I can just about promise you that at some point in that same game Gitmo squirted himself with a water bottle all over his own head and face.

If you have ever played football from the high school level it is a common thing when the weather is warm. It literally happens in every single game by every single team during the month of September and parts of October. On a scale of childish prank and murder squirting water on somebody is pretty low.

I haven't talked crap about Gus. And tell me this. What year and what part of the season was Williams in when he was kicked off? Let's face it. He had been on the team for awhile and finally got to a point that Gus said "It's enough."
