More drivel seeping from the echo chambers of Auburn fans' wet dreams.

I don’t even know enough about this situation and I never claimed he was taking online classes... I’m just saying I saw the dude walk out a classroom with some other players a decent bit. Do what you will with that info.

If you thought Pickens would make it more than 1 year in Athens you’re an idiot. He is trash. Honestly he isn’t even that good. He will be kicked off in short order for something. It’s a miracle of god he even qualified in the first place. I imagine someone cooked the transcript for him to avoid JUCO.

This post just screams of a GT fan who has to currently go to West Georgia.

he’ll at least feel more at home once he signs with Auburn next year.

Doesn't he need to toss a stolen computer out of a window first?

Your mantra is......kids who can't get into UGA go to Auburn

It's more than a mantra. It's fact. Auburn is the #1 fallback school in metro Atlanta. You can thank your 80% acceptance rate.

This argument always cracks me up. Maybe it has to do with how many apply?

quote:

Last year, 15,168 out of 18,072 applicants were admitted making Auburn University an easy school to get into with a very good chance of acceptance assuming you meet the requirements. Academically, it has very high requirements for admission test scores, generally admitting students who score in the top 26 percent. Auburn University typically accepts and attracts "A-" average high school students. Only 32% of those admitted chose to enroll in the school. Most incoming freshmen graduated in the top quarter of their high school class.

The school has a 54% acceptance rate ranking it #16 in Georgia for lowest rate of acceptance. Last year, 13,052 out of 24,165 applicants were admitted making University of Georgia a more competitive school to get into with a good chance of acceptance for qualifying applicants. Academically, it has very high requirements for admission test scores, generally admitting students who score in the top 16 percent. University of Georgia typically accepts and attracts "A-" average high school students.

this one is what I found odd.....

Only 45% of those admitted chose to enroll in the school
.........why do you think that is?

Wait a minute! I've been told by Georgia fans for 25 years that because of Jan Kemp,Georgia only took the best and brightest of their HS graduation class. Pickens had to have been part of the National Honor Society and had a 3.7 GPA from what Bulldog fans have remarked about the "challenges" of recruiting.

but Auburn is a substandard University.....per UGA mutts.............not some bastion of higher learning. Why do so many who get accepted to that pillar of higher learning choose to go elsewhere? Is it the lack of money UGA grads make when they graduate?
