On one hand he won a NC on the other it was with a once in a lifetime freak of nature. Good coach or product of a player? Discuss.

Product of a player. That Auburn team is probably the worst to ever win a BCS national championship from the SEC. That championship season was all Cam Newton.

I don't think he's a great coach, but he's not as bad as this game is showing. Gus really needs a good QB who fits his system for them to be successful.

Not really...Hes gotten blown out vs LSU and Arky too. Likely against bama. Took a miracle against Utah state and in chizzes first year he went 3-5 down the stretch with two of the wins coming against Furman and Northwestern.

Not as bad as his 5-19 record at Iowa St, but not as great as his 14-0 year at Auburn.
