Shark fricker also had a personality. Something no one will ever accuse Mullen of having. He has a $10,000,000 ego with $2.5M coaching abilities.

Here's an article contrasting the ways Georgia and Florida behaved at the SEC Media Days event.

A team takes on the character of the coach.

Georgia has class; Florida?

It's amazing how I hear the exact same about every big time program the fires their coach...it's ALWAYS the scape goat and no I don't believe in regards to players having the same bench numbers from their Freshman to Senior years.

You had more players drafted in '16,'17 and '18 than any other school except Bama.
Somebody must have been doing something right.

Way less than UGA, that's for sure.

We win championships or you're gone.

Yeah, his name was Muschamp and the vast majority of those players were on defense.

2016 NFL Draft:

Hargreaves (CB)
Neal (S)
Bullard (DE)
Morrison (LB)
McCallister (DE)

Kelvin Taylor (RB)
Robinson (WR)
McGee (TE)

5 - 3

2017 NFL Draft:

Davis (LB)
Maye (S)
Wilson (CB)
Tabor (CB)
Anzalone (LB)
Brantley (DT)
Ivie (DT)

David Sharpe (OL)

7 - 1

2018 NFL Draft:

Taven Bryan (DT)
Duke Dawson (CB)
Harris (S)
Townsend (P)

Callaway (WR)

4 - 1 (other than offense) Callaway was also removed from the team early and, ironically, entered his own regiment to prepare for the draft.

2019 NFL Draft:

Polite (DE)
CGJ (DB)
Vosean (LB)

Scarlett (RB)
Taylor (OL)

I think you guys are vastly overvaluing how much NFL talent was there that wasn't recruited by Will Muschamp.

19 - 7 defensive players drafted, the vast majority recruited by Muschamp (if not all, to be quite honest). If they were successful, it was not because of McElwain.

Because Muschamp was a great recruiter. Most of our players drafted performed sub par in college when compared to others drafted around them. We had a ton of raw talent that never really developed.

Just look at Gardner. Went from the WORST safety in the SEC to the best nickel back in one season.

Polite...average DE to one of the best pass rushers in the country.

Franks? Worst QB in the SEC to middle of the road with one of the best TD/INT ratio's in the country.

Mac was absolutely awful at developing talent. He basically wasted what Muschamp had bought in talent wise. Then didn't fill in the gaps Muschamp had left in the areas he struggled to recruit(skill positions and Oline were a big issue for Champ).

Is that really in question? I assumed that would be something you'd have conceded without question.

Much more debatable would be the 2.5M coaching talent... Clearly he's more of a 2.25M guy...

McElwain is the "Preddy neat idnt it" guy, at least Mullen has tennis shoes.

"They got what they deserved" was definitely my favorite one.

Aaron Hernandez was on Florida's team over a decade ago, yet Georgia fans love to bring him up.

If you dish it, you need to take it. Puss.

You linked an article with this gem.

Speaking of embarrassing, Mullen also made a rather large deal about the customer sneakers that he wore alongside his suit to the event. I don’t even know where to begin who how utterly ridiculous this is.

Do I think so? Yes. His first year he dramatically improved us. That was the best team we've had since 2012 despite the lowest amount of blue chips we've had since Spurrier.

I believe he has the X and O part down. He has development down. Recruiting has to get better though. Needs more big name recruits to be able to beat Bama or Clemson probably.

I think Mullen is here for a long time. He has the right attitude, seems to love the job, and knows how to win at UF.

You have zero clue what you are talking about. Mac is as cocky as Spurrier, minus the coaching ability.

Seriously..you should stop talking now. Anyone who doesn't know how arrogant Mac was clearly doesn't watch much football. Mullen is not remotely as arrogant as Mac.

Mac never took blame for a loss. Never held himself accountable for the issues(until fired). Ran off Grier because he thought he could win with any QB, including his dog. Never fired his friends, despite being told to. Mac's single biggest issue was his ego here. It's why he got canned quickly.

Whether Mac has an ego isn't really a question... It's whether Mullen's is bigger. Outside of UF fans, are you telling me that you think the majority of college football fans would rate MacElwain as more egotistical than Mullen?

Mullen who claims to have invented the MSU/Ole Miss rivalry? Dan Mullen who has self described himself as arrogant throughout his career? Dan Mullen once quoted "It's not that we're cocky, we're just better than all the other schools..." in reference to Mississippi State...

Sure. He clearly is less arrogant than Jim MacElwain.

The dawg fans on this board speak to much on things they are clearly clueless about. Maybe it's because they are new to football and jumped on the bandwagon. Here, just read a little for yourself before you speak on shite like an idiot.

link 1 for the dawg who knows nothing about which he speaks

SI link for the dawg fan

Third article, from Miami Herald

USA today on Florida's poor S&C coaching

I can keep going...but you should get the point that running your mouth when you clearly have no clue what you are talking about isn't a good idea.
