The S&C was purely awful. It's why UF was notoriously bad in the 4th quarter, rarely won in the trenches, and had major injury issues. Kids had no guidance.

I think you've confused me for someone who gives a frick about your S&C program. You can take that up with RD.

Not my hill to die on. All I said on the subject was:

"No one is even saying that S&C wasn't a problem there when he arrived... simply that NEARLY EVERY incoming coach uses S&C as a point of leverage as to how they're going to be different. Sometimes it's wildly inaccurate, sometimes it's spot on... most of the time, it's somewhere in the middle."

Mike Kent is roughly 59 years old... given that he started playing college ball in 78. Where he works now would seem to be irrelevant. He worked in the S&C space for more than 30 years. He has a fine resume... It's *obvious* that he was in over his head at UF - I'm not sure why you or 2008 seem to think that I'm indicating that UF S&C program under Mac was "good"... Mark Hocke was also a shitty S&C coach. That's who was at the helm in 2015 at UGA when Richt was let go. He was let go and took a short stint with A&M, and has now gone down to Louisiana - Lafayette. His career likely ends at a small school or not in the industry as well... There were also articles with UGA players criticizing Hocke (and Tereschinski Jr) and the UGA S&C program before Kirby as well... not tailored, too cookie cutter, not modern were some of the buzzwords I recall off hand.

Anyways... As I said above... please don't confuse me with someone who cares about UF's S&C program. I can assure you. I don't. Just was correcting a wildly inaccurate take. You guys can continue to tilt at windmills if you wish.
