Lousy kickoff time. It's almost always been a noon kick instead.

It’s the Gator Bowl. If it hits 40k then it’s a success. The sidelines are full. End zones aren’t. Upper is closed.

Uh nope. Miami doesn't get that many to watch them during the season, let alone the Spring game.

They basically chose TV eyeballs over local attendance I guess?

That overhead shot ESPN showed of the crowd was pathetic.

Aggy fans boycotting the game after the Taxslayer CEO posted a pic on Twitter of himself eating Chick Fil A.

Attendance has really dropped since they went back to inviting an ACC team over a B10 team.

2015 Georgia vs Penn State - 58K
2014 Iowa vs Tennessee - 56K
2013 Georgia vs Nebraska - 61K
2012 Mississippi State vs Northwestern - 49K
2011 Florida vs Ohio State - 61K
2010 Michigan vs Mississippi State - 77K

I think the last time it was at night was 92 when we beat NC State. It was on TBS. Still had over 71K show up to the old Gator Bowl.

Sort of pissed the Peach Bowl isn’t on NYE anymore.

They generally had semi-local ACC and SEC teams and it had great local support. And the teams were usually Top 20, too.

Plus it was kind of a NYE tradition.

Prime time I guess. Also didn't want it to be on at the same time as the Citrus and Outback.
