I don’t know a single LSU fan who hates Coach Saban. In fact, we just inducted him into the Louisiana Sports HOF this past summer and it was standing room only.

Nope. I think Tennessee beats Texas today, which was one of the topics we spoke about. Ever heard that the enemy of my enemy is my friend? That is pretty much where LSU stands at this point.

Why does LSU take criticism of Lane as a personal insult?
Kiffin is a douchebag, pointing that out isn’t a jab at LSU. And let’s not kid ourselves, a very large percentage of coaches are douchebags.
Lane is just more vocal about it.

Well good for us the people of today have short attention spans as well as all is forgiven with winning. Tenn just wanted to be relevant again so they are jumping in the hate bandwagon for something that happened 20 years ago.
Like has been posted prior. Lane was a saint at Ole Miss. documentaries. Feel good stories. Little birds chirping and Disney music when he walked. But then he takes a better opportunity and he’s the debil!!! He didn’t quit on his team. Hell those butt hurt players I’m sure could have came with him if they wanted. now that’s he’s somewhere to become a real threat for a sustained dynasty, people are getting uncomfortable.it was cute when he was at ole Miss as Peope knew he may have a flash in the pan here and there, but ole Miss can’t keep up with the likes of the bigger SEC schools.
A lot of people are piling on because unfortunately that’s what the world does now. It’s the cool thing this week. However, a lot of those that are, have been scared shitless of what he will accomplish at LSU and are talking out their arse. They got a brief sigh of relief and “maybe we were wrong” with the loss to Ole Miss, but deep down they know. just like deep down everyone knew what Saban was going to do at Bama. Remember he barely lost to LSU and lost to ULM the same year. I’m. It saying LK is the next Saban. But I do think he will Have solid success, more than all the other programs in the SEC with the exception of GA.

He is absolutely the most self-centered, egotistical, narcissist on the planet. He either builds up a program to the cusp of greatness and quits before crossing the finish line, or gets fired in spectacular fashion. That is Lane Kiffin in a nutshell and why he's never won anything of consequence.

Regardless of how you feel about Ole Miss, ditching your players in the middle of a playoff run is never a good look to new players and the parents that influence what school they go play for.
I predict that will hurt Kiffin for years if he doesn't win a Natty immediately.

I’d say since you ran away from big brother, only for them to follow you a decade later, we’ve handled you pretty well. 9-5 including 6 in a row since you came back. That’s one higher than your ceiling of 8-4 seasons you measure success.
