That compromise has been talked about on here since yesterday. Don't remember anyone on here being upset by that prospect
But why didn't Florida just make arrangements for Tampa or somewhere else this weekend so we don't have to frick with next year's schedule or move this year to BR at all? Florida's administration and the SEC office bungled the shite out of this. Pretty pathetic on both their parts.

I will self-police that talk
They can play it in Jacksonville for all I care. They deserve it for what they're going through during this storm

I have ulterior motives for supporting such a move.

It's a joke. Pull the stick out of your arse. I've been on record saying play this game ANYWHERE just play it this weekend.

Because it makes more sense to frick the schedule up for the next TWO YEARS obviously.
Agree with you, SEC really needs to work on their disaster planning stadium alternates.

Dude it is a completely fair trade. UF plays this year in BR in front of 50k, and next year, we play neutral site somewhere like ATL.
Yea, that isn't a fair trade.
We already have a neutral site game. So we get a home schedule of
Chattanooga
Syracuse
Troy
Auburn
Arkansas
Aggies
With the first conference home game but being until mid October.
Yay
This isn't a trade scenario. UF can't host the game. That isn't LSU's fault.

Perhaps you overlooked the "or somewhere else." Florida's administration was adamant in every announcement that Gainesville was the only option even when everyone with half a brain knew it was a highly improbable game site considering the goddamn hurricane barreling in on the state and causing mass evacuations.
Again, I couldn't care less where they moved it, they just needed to try rather than say Gainesville or canceled.

Technically, it would be 5.
GA Southern and Arky State played last night. Western KY and LA Tech play tonight, Clempson tomorrow, Saturday and then Sunday. By my math, that's 5.
