Nolan's/Anderson's system is antiquated and will never work in modern college basketball.
Wolken just likes riling up the Arkansas faithful stuck in the 90s by pointing out obvious facts.

This is our first real challenge. Does this not concern you a little?

Oh I agree. He had fun with them last year.

Today.
Arkansas hasn't lost the rebound margin by a significant number until today.
We were winning the rebound battle while Florida was struggling to beat North Florida.
Elsewhere? ha

Yeah I was just about to say this. Plus VCU has been pretty successful doing it.
The way these games get called going forward is going to be interesting though.

Another low major.
Why such a soft schedule?
It's part of the Old Spice Classic in Orlando. We drew them in our first game. If we win, we'll most likely play Memphis. Some other good teams (like Oklahoma State) are also in the tourny.

21 Offensive Rebounds. Yes, that equals points.

How so? They're 6-0, ranked in the top 25, and have played very well in every game they've played.

Not just a couple good teams...

I honestly don't understand why it's so hard for you guys to be objective.
I'm not calling out any of y'all individually, just talking about the game because I like basketball.
LSU lost to UMass on the road in a game where their 2nd best player didn't play the entire game. That same UMass team just won the tournament in Charleston, and will probably be ranked soon.
Rebounding was a huge part of this game, but of course that doesn't mean it's the most important stat in the world. But when one team has 20 offensive rebounds and gets 2nd chance opportunities all game, yeah it's a big deal.
If Arkansas forces a lot of turnovers, they're going to give almost a one trouble by forcing them out of their comfort zone. However, if teams can handle the pressure for the majority of the game, then Arkansas might struggle. It's hard not to give up open looks if you're pressing and/or pressuring the ball hard in the half-court. It's also really hard to REBOUND the ball if you're scrambling on defense, because that means you have to scramble to box out and grab the board.
#1 for Cal was impressive and that white kid made you pay if he was open and even sometimes when he was contested.
Arkansas looked really solid in spurts with their press, but it's hard to do that for an entire game, especially with the new rules where a lot more fouls are called.
Cal is pretty good with size. Arkansas will match up better against a lot of other teams.
