I think Sumrall will have the guys locked in, no letdown game.
We have a chance of going 6-0 gping into the Texas game, with a decent chance of pulling off that one too, who woulda thought a year ago when Slingblade was on our sidelines

Yep I doubt any defense can shut this offense down for a whole game.

Agreed. Faulkner makes adjustments in game and it's incredible to see. When it comes to away games, running the ball and playing stout defense is how you win them. We got 1/2. Defense will just have to hide the weakness of the secondary. Red Zone defense will be key next week.

It is crazy. If you watch closely its Buster's play calling and Philo adjusting right away in the pocket that is hiding our tackles aren't that good of pass blockers. Looking back at that 2024 Miami game GT upset them the same thing was going on there when Philo played about half that game neutralizing those real good pass rushers Miami had that tore us up that year - from getting sacks at least.

This is a big game for both programs.
Mizzou fans are frustrated with Drink, especially after job shopping last off season, and him not taking the program to the next level, and slightly regressing ,after 2023.
The loss to Ms State last week has them feeling like this could be a season saving game for them and they will come out hot.

I absolutely hate this matchup - every single time its just fricking weird.
And that team always has their guys deliver extra late hits.
Remember the shot of Sapp sitting on the ground after the 23 game where Mertz broke his collarbone, and Mizzou hit the 4th and 17?
I hope they absolutely destroy them.

I haven't watched a minute of Missouri football this year so someone feel free to correct me, but I think we might get more cover 4 base in this game on defense which will frustrate some.

No this is wrong. Their defense is having a down year. They're not just going to reload like bama and georgia. They don't even recruit like that. He just signed an extension and the university and its fans are happy. Just finished their rebuild of the stadium which is a lot nicer than what it used to be. It was so garbage before with that big M on the grass.
MSST is a solid team with an elite QB. No shame in losing that one on the road. They'll contend next season. Their schedule is a monster this year so can't expect much except for making a bowl game.

Austin Simmons is a solid QB with a big arm. Secondary will be tested all game. That Ole Miss transfer at WR is a threat. Not having Hardy sucks for them and it shows how much they miss him because their run game isn't as efficient. They'll run but tough yards. Great O-line too. Like I've said before, schedule gets harder even tho these teams aren't getting media attention.
South Carolina next week will also be tough but I'll wait to see what happens with Stewart.

We opened as a 5 point favorite..the home team gets 3 points..so Vegas has as 8 points better.
